Well I would call you stupid for typing (in capital letters) CONFIRMED at the helm of your title. Mainly because not only has it NOT been confirmed; but this news is really, really old - there have already been threads on it, months ago.axia777 said:Oh, rriiiiiight. Because the 360 and the PC versions were all ready a forgone conclusion. So multiplatform MUST mean that Mass Effect is coming to the DS or maybe the Phantom. So what else is left. Oh, rriiigght, the PS3. Stupid me.
Sort of. I do remember that ME was developed somewhat on MS' dime (with them as publisher) and with an exclusivity arrangement. For EA to do anything otherwise would involve questionably legal backstabbery.Raven28256 said:I think it is safe to bet that "multiple platforms" only means "360 and PC." Microsoft still owns part of the rights to Mass Effect I believe, since they published the original. And really, it wouldn't make sense to release the sequel on the PS3 when the PS3 gamers never got to play the original.
