Looks like their strategy of pay what you want, donate some to charity has paid off. The million dollar mark was hit with nearly an hours left. I wonder how high the donations will get in the last 30 minutes?

I hope they release the raw donation numbers to let people run statistical analysis and determine trends. Already we know that nearly half of their market is Linux and Mac users, and both Linux and Mac users are willing to pay more than Windows users on average. This might encourage some major publishers to stop ignoring those markets but I'm not holding my breath.

That's great! Looks like people are willing to pay about $10 for the bundle - pretty reasonable imo.

update: final total is $1,033,959

They extended the bundle another week and are open sourcing 4 of the games offered. I would consider this a triumph for the gaming community.

I wish I could have afforded to donate a bit more but I'm pleased to see the average is still lower than what I gave
