OT: Sounds to me like it'd be pretty hard to make a fun game based on prisoners, completely bound by the rules of the real physical world, who can't be allowed to escape because they're actual violent offenders. What would be the object? To see how horribly you can make someone die? How long you can survive? There aren't a lot of options.

Well there was one prisoner game on pc where you played as the lawyer and you were in charge of the well being of the prioner and had to prove him innocent and then had to get more info from him by asking him the right question's ... so it was like a rpg, adventure game. i only played it for a hour before my boredom of rpg kicked in.

Bleh, knowing me, I'd get the one prisoner who's on Death Row because he was set up by the government to take a fall to boost the show's ratings. Then I'd have to win because he was the good guy, and then he'd kill off the wardens after I work out how to disable the behavioural locks, and that'd get me blamed because technically they're innocents, and then he'd bring down the whole system and I'd be fucking blamed and have the shit kicked out of me by chavs who were watching that because it replaced Big Brother.

Nope, I think I'll stick with virtual entertainment for now.

I would do this, and not consider it murder.
If the ethics are raised about it being another life, I always stick by the argument that people forfeit their life when they take another.
Death row inmates don't have to necessarily be murderers but the concept is the same.
This is why I'm for the capitol punishment being brought back here in the UK.

Doesn't this argument mean anyone doing the executing forfeits their life when they take that of the inmates? My want to close the logic holes there.

I see what you mean, but I'd consider taking a forfeited life different from taking a life.
Then again that raises the issue of if someone is arrested for murdering a murderer, do they deserve to die. I suppose all we could do is trust the legal system (pfft).

I could never do it, the whole idea is inhuman. to control a person and get them killed and not feel any remorse? even if you dont know the person its still a human life. So they killed people, atleast let them live in prison and die in the prision, dont get some 13 year old kid to do to killing. Honestly if you think about it, it really isnt a game. Its more a death sentance.

I would do it. They're on death row for doing some sort of crime. Its not like its my fault that they're there.

I almost always play the evilest possible and do some abhorrent things, things I would never do to a real person.

Mostly this. I'm a dick in most games. Hell, if I could punt kittens and eat babies in most open world games, I'd probably do it.
