Everyone always seems to be at war over which console is better, and over here it's gotten out of hand. Being a topic every day for another cut throat discussion.

It could just be the company I keep but I feel like I hear less fanboyism now than I did a few years ago. I'm hopeful that people are beginning to get over it. I think we've heard all the arguments pro/con each system by now.

It's all just a big hippie love iin these days. Sure the fanboys will be fanboys, but the big corporate juggernauts are all too busy being nice or vaguely passive aggressive to each other to actually have a console war.

That video had me in tears, hilarious!

The console wars is getting pretty insane if I do say so myself. I think it's alright to be passionate about your favorite consoles, games, etc., but it's another thing to completely bash people about their opinions. It's to a point now where half the time it's just another kid screaming "PS3 SUX! THE GAMES ARE TERRIBLE! BAWWW!". It really makes me sick sometimes. I may not be a big fan of the 360, but I'm not going to go out of my way to let the world know that I think it sucks.

The very word "Wars" serves as evidence that it has gone too far. We shouldn't be arguing about which one is "better" as if one will finally be chosen as being the superior console and every other will vanish from existence. Just play what you want to play and let others play what they want to play.

I'm not in a place where I can turn on the sound, but the topic leads me to think it's just an irl fanboy argument. Is that right?
