That alien "greys" as we know them aren't extra-terrestrial at all but sub-aquatic - there features derived partially from evolving from a sea-based creature such as a Dolphin explaining there skin type, there short stature and large eyes due to evolving in sub-aquatic caves where there's limited light causing them to evolve large dark eyes and the small caves would mean evolution would favour the short not the tall as it does on the surface - also gravity is slightly stronger down there.

There small mouths are due to eating fungus and moss or plankton and although perceived to communicate telepathically by us they're actually using high pitch clicks (similar to Dolphinese) but out of our hearing range (why dogs always bark when they're around).

Flying saucers are such a shape due to their submarine requirements as they need to travel through the sea not just the air.

Due to the far more hazardous environment they evolved in they're a peaceful people but they haven't contacted us directly due to fear of attack and haven't "invaded" the surface as it holds no merit for them, the sun too bright for the eyes and millennia underground means they get sun-burn/cancer real quick.

Thing I like most about this one is I made it up a few years back :D

Title says it.

I was thinking about this the other day when I was reading up on random conspiracy theories for whatever reason and found myself entertained by some of the theories I was reading.

One in particular was the moon landing conspiracy that the USA was in a race with Russia, so they faked the moon landing, but when they actually went to the moon, they found alien life and hid it from the public.

I find that kind of stuff fun to believe in, even though I don't actually believe it to be true.

So, I ask you, Escapist, has this ever happened to you?
Actually, they didn't find aliens...

I'd say the one about the moon being made of cheese, but we all know that's true.
OT: Evolution.
Evolution isn't a conspiracy theory, it's science.
But that's just what they want you to think!

I completely distrust the US government (and every other government for that matter) I see every little act as them attempting to sieze more power. I don't know if this is true, but it gives me enjoyment in the form of "justified rage" everytime something happens.

I once heard one saying that the reason the U.S.A faked the moon landing is so that we wouldn't find out that the Earth is flat.

Evolution isn't a conspiracy theory, it's science.

OT: I just recently read about some nutjob's theory that inside the earth is another earth, with entirely different species and civilizations living on it, and that the northern lights were actually just light escaping from an entrance to this 'inner earth'.
Thats true. The Evolution part, not the inner earth thing. That would be strange though. Sounds like a place for spring break! Where did you read that at?

I found the link on this site, I don't remember who posted it, but that site is full of the most insane things imaginable. Come to think of it, it would be awesome if most of these things were real, but the guy writing it is obviously pulling stuff out of his ass.
wow, that guy is just.... wow... the thing about women did make me lol tho
my favorite conspiracy is that the moon doesnt actually exist, and it is only a holigram that was created by a government thousands of years ago to enslave the world

So that's to say you don't actually believe in evolution? Or acknowledge it could be a conspiracy?

I don't get it. Why would a hologram in the sky help anyone enslave the world?
It *would* greatly help if (thinking up a new conspiracy!): the moon actually has a CIA base on it with a really big laser to shoot at the Earth!

Can't really defend much against the Super CIA Moon Laser of Doom! :p
