I missed whatever seems to have sprung up, but I looked at the weekly schedule and notice that almost all the decent content providers have packed it in.


Oh, and there was something about tightening policies while simultaneously hiring people most likely to break them.

Was Escapist bought out by news Corp?

Was Escapist bought out by news Corp?

The Escapist has had a small change-over of staff, and MovieBob is leaving the site as of the 1st of March. They have already hired some new content producers and they're expected to start in March as well (I think).

Basically there's a big changeover right now, so things are going to be a big quiet while contracts and behind-the-scenes stuff is being taken care of.

I'm sorry I've had to close your thread but believe me, it would've just invited more venting about the current situation from other users.
