Hypothetically:

A wizard appears in front of you with an offer. He has a gaming console you do not recognize and informs you that if you plug it in and set it up like any other console, you will be able to control the body of the person you hate the most in the form of a video game on your television.

Some things to consider:

1. You can play the game for as long as you want. The character (your enemy) is fully aware of what is going on but cannot control themselves, but you can choose to let the character regain control of their body whenever you want in the "Options" screen, or by shutting the console off, you regain control when you decide to play again. Also, you have the option of controlling what the character says with a headset.

2.The character (your enemy) is limited to what they are actually physically able to do.

3.The "game world" that your enemy is in is still the real world, so real world consequences are to be considered. If you make the character blow up your own house... your real house will be blown up, if you make your enemy blow up their own house however...

4. The NPC's are actual people.

5. There are no cheat codes, and the character only has 1 life.

6. You get to choose 1 of any (real world) weapon, you don't have to use it, but if you do, the next level you play in might be a prison unless you hide the body or go on the run.

How will you play?

I'd make the man I'm controlling shoot the wizard, give me his wand, and then I can take over the universe.

Simple answer: I won't. I don't care how many people in this world my hate me, I don't consider a single person my enemy.

There are many hypothetical ideas that create interesting discussions between my friends and I, I figured The Escapist is another perfect place where these discussions take place.

Nah, I'd send him straight onto the news proclaiming godly shizz & then tell end it by saying that the cake is a lie.

That'd be hilarious. Then quit & watch him try and explain THAT!

Peter = My enemy

Make him dump his girlfriend by going "FALCON PAWWCH!" as he is punching her face in.

"Attempt" to make him do parkour.

Sever all his connections with friends.

Then, my voice, under disguise will say "Shouldn't have been a twat in school."

This will plague his mind forever.

Nightmare on Elm Street power glove bit much?

;P

I would probably just put it onto auto for awhile, but tell him that i have the controller, and let him live in fear wondering if he'll do something in his sleep, as i will make him do inane things whilst sleepwalking, such as stacking up all the toilet seats in his house in a pile, or replacing his shaver with a lollipop.

I would get one of my friends to mod it so I can take control of everything.

I wouldn't use it, but I wouldn't throw it away either. I'd use it subtly; if he/she is doing something blatantly out of line, I'd subtly tweak the situation so everyone gets out of it ok. Including the person. You have to be responsible with that kind of power but if the person is genuinely in the camp of nasty (or too stupid to survive) it's pretty irresponsible to just throw it away as well.

Though the temptation to abuse that level of power over another person... ARRGH, why am I thinking these things! Must. Not. Make. Him. Walk. Into. Wall.

Well, considering that when I'm playing it, my enemy will be underaged-drunk-off-his-ass, I'd make him steal a car and just drive it until it crashes.

I'd make him powerslide through a speed camera in his car (tried AND tested way of getting round speeding tickets) stand outside college shouting at people, make him hug strangers in the street. Then I'd let him regain control mid-hug, then argue with him in the street, using his voice just to make it that bit wierder for onlookers.

Maybe just play it for long enough to see who I hate most in the world?

I have no idea who that is.

this is the obvious answer..
but i would pick a small knife, then sell his house, buy a cloak, a dagger some black clothes, a professional lock picking set, a crowbar, a lock picking guide, (before selling the house obviously) have him read the book while he does a very hard training routine, then have him be a master thief, and have him give me all of his cash :D, also, um..i dunno, i wouldn't kill people tho, just steal all their stuff
