What's the most random thing you've ever cooked?
Today I roasted a chicken for my mum (for Mother's day).
The twist: Inside a melon.
I can conjure up some weird things, but I saw this in a cook book and thought 'Yeah, I'll give it a try.'
It was actually really nice and I'd heartily recommend it to anyone.

1. Get yourself a chicken and a really big melon (honeydew or watermelon).
2. Cut the melon in half and hollow it out.
3. Put the chicken in the melon and secure it with skewers.
4. Shove it in the oven for 3 and a half hours on gas mark 5/190 degrees.

Peruse a few pages of that. Hot dogs with Twinkie buns topped with Cheez Whiz?

That DOES sound delicious. How did you come up with it?

Hmm, I think the weirdest thing I've made was brownies with cheese inside them.
Weirdest thing I've eaten? Chocolate covered crickets. Never going through that neighborhood again...

Hrrrm...

Well, there was the Tiberium cake I make that has green icing with red/brown/yellow texture/flavour.

Or the Root Hammwich, which is a cheese burger sealed in two slices of eggy bread(french toast). Mmmmm...hardened arteries.

Except for the Scotch Egg, every one of the things on that page made me feel ill.

Random Pasta:
You need:
Pasta (enough for number of people eating)
5 ingredients you picked from the pantry/fridge/cupboard without looking. Once you have picked up an ingredient, you are not allowed to put it back and have to use it in the meal. You can use as much or as little as you like, but you have to use some.

The only exception being if it's unsafe to eat. Try it, the dullest one I've made was Pasta, Noodles, Pasta, Rice, Garlic, tomatoes.
The most 'interesting', I'd rather not talk about

Pasta with more pasta.

But why did you have two things of pasta in your cupboard?

Well, I guess it's not exactly cooking by the traditional term of the word, but still. Once, (while drunk, mind you) I made a peanut butter and ketchup sandwich. I quickly realized what I had done once I started eating it.

Bacon Wrapped Snickers Bars...

Wrap some snickers in bacon and make a beer batter (preferably a stout or lager) and deep fry them until golden brown. That shit was good as fuck

In my cupboard today I have:

1 3kg bag Fusilli
1 500g bag Spaghetti
1/2 3kg bag Penne
2 800g bags Tagliettele
1 400g box Lasagne sheets

With those odds it's dead easy to get pasta plus pasta, which doesn't really bother me, I like pasta.

Wow, that's a lot of pasta.
I have pasta quills and some spaghetti, that's it.
But with those odds, yeh.
A bit of bad luck to get rice as well though.

The only things I ever cook are Cheese Thing and Cheese Fantasy.

(Points for reference?)
