The achievement in MW1 and 2 that you get by jumping off a building and killing yourself. There should be more suicidal achievements as that's my area of expertise.

Also "I fired every bullet ever". Not the achievement itself but the name.

That gnome-achievement in Half-Life 2.

Though I would probably never be able to do it. Still, it's freaking awesome.

Cheats are your friend, and they don't disable the achievement.

Gnome-achievement from Half Life 2 and Left 4 Dead 2, although that's already been said.

I also liked the added Portal achievements with the radios (Before the announcing of Portal 2)

Gears of War's Seriously... and Seriously 2.0 (And probably Seriously, Get a life) are quite unique achievements...

Really though I loved the Butcher achievement in Dead Space. Dismember 1000 limbs. I did it again for my friend the other night, so much fun. Also Ragdoll Check from Dead Space is pretty cool.

I enjoyed a lot from Dead Rising, specifically "Frank the Pimp" (simultaneously escort 8 female survivors) and "Zombie Genocider" (Kill 53,594 zombies in a single game... which just happens to be the population of Willamette). Random crap that you wouldn't do for any other reason like that is always fun.
