... Y'know, I was going the just shout 'John Barrowman!' but he's actually a bit of an ass.
A totally funny, lovable, and devoted-to-his-fans ass, but he has the most tasteless jokes...

... Screw it, the man can sing.
I VOTE JOHN BARROWMAN!

When it comes to lesbians, my vote goes to Ellen Degeneres for being the only real lesbian I know who doesn't suck.
I'm looking at you, every girl I've ever dated. ELLEN DEGENERES IS A HOOPIER LESBIAN THAN ALL OF YOU PUT TOGETHER.

Elton John is awesome, but every gay person I have met except one has been really dumb, its probably just coincidence but it kind of made me a homophobe.

I wouldn't say that someone is 'cool' for being a gay/lesbian white/black midget/giant or whatever the f*ck they are. A person can be my friend or someone I would like to hang out with or dislike by the way the behave themself more than anything else.
People can say the same about me for what my appearance might be for them. It's just when you try to see what's after the initial layer of a person that could or couldn't make them interesting.

Past the stereotypical "queens" (I realise this may be an offensive term but it's also the most descriptive one I can think of off the top of my head) most gay people are fine... atleast as far as people in general go. This thread is silly.

I like Freddy Mercury's music, and I'm sure more than a few voice actors whos characters I like are gay. I have a moral issue with homosexuality, I find it repugnant, unnatural, and sinful, but then again I also find excessive drinking, sleeping around, and the general rocker lifestyle to be morally wrong and harmful. Of course I listen to rock music and enjoy the 'cool' things these people contribute. I don't suddenly hate a person because of their sexuality. Indeed as a Christian sin is sin, and I'm as sinful as a homosexual person. I struggle with gluttony and heterosexual lust, so I'm not coming from a high horse here, I just know what the bible says and I hold it to be true. I don't treat homosexuals differently, provided they're not flamboyant and push their sexual identity on me.

There are many posts, and I might have been ninja'd, but I must say that Ian McKellen is the most awesome I can think of off the top of my head.

Alan Turing. Someone must have mentioned him by now!

No? Well I'm not going to check anyway. He should be a definite contender for thread victory.

Of course! I've read the whole series all the way through. Is there something I missed?

My favorite character is Stephan Stills. I don't want to spoil anything.

Most of them.

Why does everyone seem to think that someone's sexuality means they have to prove themselves to be equal? That only a few are genuinely good people?
Just the way society and people keep portraying them, sadly.

I dont really care if they're gay/bi or asexual, to me there still people. (Although I don't enjoy highly flamboyant guys hitting on me...)

My best friend Hannah is gay, and she is the coolest girl-friend I've got. I've known her for all my life almost, so when she came out it was something.
