And sorry I couldn't find a link on this but the South African Police used to have a belt fed 12 gauge shotgun.

Saiga-12s can be converted to be belt fed

OR THEY CAN JUST HAVE A TWENTY SHELL DRUM MAGAZINE.

The AA-12 does the same thing.

Machinegun/ shotgun hybrids are nothing new.
