A Liger. It's pretty much my favorite animal. It's like a lion and a tiger mixed... bred for its skills in magic.

What about sphinxes, not the one in Eygpt, but the ancient greek sphinx. The ones that asked riddles and would kill you if you answered incorrectly

A while back I posted my favourites in a different thread similar to this. Give me a second and I will go find my old post and edit this one :D

EDIT: Here we go!

I don't know much about Mythological creatures, but I have played a game called Legendary, and the creatures I have listed are my favourites from that game:

That werewolf out of Harry Potter which scared the shit out of me:

There we go!

Sorry, couldn't find a good pic:

Kitsune. Anything that is that powerful of an illusionist is automatically awesome in my book.

Entire worlds under floorboards that are real enough they might as well be, that is just some epic trickery right there.

Heidrun.

Look it up it´s awesome :D
I looked it up and found this.

I really wish this creature was real; sadly the Icelandic fitness model will always elude us.

As for my favorite mythical creature,

Huldufolk, or hidden people.

Also Icelandic in origin, but probably easier to find than a Heidrun.
