I think of my (cello) bow as the coolest object I own. Not because it looks great (even though it does), but because it plays so awesomely, and it's by a great maker.

EDIT: But my cello's almost as cool as the bow. Almost.

EDITEDIT: However, my new cello will be just as cool as the bow. Here's what it might look like (doesn't exist yet. For all I know, it could still be a bunch of trees in Czechoslovakia at this time)
