Hey, pretty simple thread here, list the coolest things you've done in Minecraft :D

For me, (Pretty new) it's a tie between my epic mountain castle and my underground pimp lounge complete with water slide :D

I was pleased with my multi-island tunnel system, complete with spawn point traps (had help setting these up) for goods and routes branching off to my friends towns and locations.

My spiral tower that goes from Bedrock to the build height limit. Still pretty new to MC so that's all I've accomplished

I made an underlava fortress in the nether (incredibly difficult, trust me) made of glass.

I also made a thin, tall and spiky spire made entirely out of metal blocks and lava, a sand pyramid that could sink 100 floors with the push of a button, and a multi-layer farm (16X16X128).

I have WAY too much time

Just finished a massive tower made entirely of glass with a glowstone light at the top, on my favourite Multiplayer server :) I called it the Glazed Skytower... It has two waterfalls that flow from the top! :)

It's also always fun raiding a dungeon together with some friends, or taking a bunch of gear and going exploring into the far off distance...

I also once made a sky complex for my guild of archers, it branched across a large part of the landscape and we could cover everyone as they went about their daily business, shooting down the leftover Creepers and Spiders in the morning... Good times!!

I do love Minecraft! :D

Dungeon. Over 20 very large rooms, traps, puzzles, riddles, an actual plot, and a boss fight. Plus a sequel in the works.

Quite happy with this, considering it was done in vanilla and without any editors (this will not be true for the sequel, since that's a senseless waste of options). It doesn't quite work in a few places, most notably the final boss not quite working as intended and forcing me to make multiple, less impressive work-arounds. Still, it's not too bad.

A fully functional city inside an aritficial island in the ocean. You can sort of tell it's fake form the outside, but it houses a giant base that stretches to the horizons inside. It took forever to coat the base in dirt so a causal passerby would not attempt to enter it. Work on my war zeppelin begins soon.

Inspired by you I now also intend to make an under lava fortress under my hovering one and connect the two, got any advice for that?
It isnt easy, I'll tell you that. since it's impossible to just swim to the bottom of a lava lake and just start building, i used Gravel to lay out the terrain. it's gravity affected, so it will sink to the bottom of the lake so you can stay safe above, and it isn't flammable like sand. my foundation was something like this:

gravelgravelgravelgravelgravelgravelgravel
gravel lavalavalavalavalavalavalava gravel
gravel lavalavalavalavalavalavalava gravel
gravel lavalavalavalavalavalavalava gravel (lol, this is confusing)
gravel lavalavalavalavalavalavalava gravel
gravel lavalavalavalavalavalavalava gravel
gravelgravelgravelgravelgravelgravelgravel

about 25 by 25, i didn't want to use up too much space. anyway, once you have an area completely surrounded by gravel, you can use buckets, netherrack, dirt or anything to clear out the lava, level by level. when you reach the bottom, the entire gravel-encased area should be clear for building. once your building is finished, you destroy the gravel and allow the lava to encase your fortress. make sure you have a safe way in, though :D

my GOD, I just keep rambling, don't I? sorry about the long instructions, I tend to do that.
