Coolest thing you've seen in a movie

I was recently watching Vexille, which is a 2007 Japanimation CGI-fest from the makers of Appleseed.

There is an type of antagonist in the movie called 'jags' which are sandworm-like whirling cyclones of spinning metal bits. Pic and video very related.

This is quite possibly the coolest (and most impressive) thing i've seen in an anime.

What an AWESOME movie!!! The Jags were BADASS!!!

Sorry, too few people have seen this movie so I get outbursts like this whenever I hear someone discussing them.

My Name Is Bruce = one of the best movies ever!

The T-rex in the first Jurassic Park movie. I was really young the first time I saw that movie but when the T-rex broke out of her pen I was really and truly amazed, awe struck. The old girl deserves some credit, I still get goosebumps when I see that scene.
Plus I'll never forget the scene where the T-rex becomes the unlikely hero towards the end and in turn would become the most beloved dinosaur in populr culture.

Hmmm...well, my first pick would be the Transformers. They just transformed seamlessly. My props to the animators.

Second would be the aliens from District 9. They look so life like.
