Watching UberHaxorNova's Videos on youtube he does live commentaries anyway he and another friend of his were on a Minecraft serving making a Giant Pineapple [long story].

Anyway at one time in the video they sing lyrics from the song 'Crazy' and got hit with a Copyright Strike which i thought was a really stupid who cares that they sang lyrics from there song wouldn't that be good for promotional usage anyway?

But apparently this stuff is frequent.

So my question is do you think CopyRight Infringement's are too Strict [For this situation]

Singing a song isn't copyright infringement and they could easily challenge the DMCA and win.

When it comes to protecting your copyrights, the law is use it or lose it, meaning if you don't go around stopping people from infringing, you could lose your copyright *completely.* It's kind of understandable that some people might overreact in that situation.
