Cosplayed for the first time this weekend at Comic Con 2010. Went as Big Boss from MGS3. Most fun I've ever had at the convention. So many pictures! haha I already posted it enough on this site in other topics (including The Escapist's official one) so I won't do it again here.

No because I don't care for star trek or anime. To me cosplaying just seems kind of pathetic like the ultimate sign of being a nerd, but thats just my opinion.

I'm too slim to cosplay half the male characters in gaming or anime. Well, maybe not anime, considering the majority of males in anime are about 120 pounds and smooth as a baby's bottom, but.. Yeah.

I cosplayed yesterday at Comic-Con. I went as Ivan from Golden Sun and a friend went as Louis from Left 4 Dead.

My next costume: Nightmare's Soul Calibur 3 costume. I'm going to get started as soon as possible.

I cosplayed as Super Saiyan Goku when I traveled to the one and only anime convention of my life. I had a lot of fun, and my costume wasn't half-bad, either. I even had a small canvas bag of "senzu beans" that I ate (Green jelly beans). I had a lot of fun doing it, and I still have the costume!

For Halloween this year I'm planning on cosplaying for the first time as a male version of Yuki Nagato in her witchh outfit.
Except I won't be wearing a school girl outfit, my hair will probably not be purple, and I'll probably have have Stirling Inferno (her wand) instead of a guitar.

Eh...I certainly don't share the sentiment, but I suppose to each their own opinion. When people were sports jerseys, I don't think they're pathetic for their love of the game. I feel the same about cosplaying.

While not technically cosplay, my Halloween costume/possible cosplay costume is of one of Makarov's gunmen from No Russian. A few dedicated friends fill out the whole group.

I do not cosplay at cons.

Why?

Because every single person I knew in college that did so were either Aspie or full on Autistic anime freaks.
And yes, yes I'm talking diagnosed bad.

So no.
No thank you. It has been thoroughly ruined for me for even the subtlest of costume wearing outside of halloween.
