PS2: Persona 3 FES is 80+ hours and Dark Cloud 2 100+ hours, both are great RPGs.
PS3: Mass Effect 2 40 to 50 hours, Folklore just 15 hours if you just do the main story but 40-50 hours for 100% completion, the Assassin's Creed games aren't too bad if you do all the side quests and everything 30 to 40 hours for the first two and 20 to 30 hours for Brotherhood.

I'm looking for a few PS3/PS2 games to last me until Skyrim. I have Oblivion, Fallout 3, and NV, so please refrain from listing them along with any Final Fantasy games. I've also played both Dragon Age games. Single Player only please.
Just cause 2 if you decide to continue after you beat the 7 main missions. Keep in mind there are 49 additional side missions, and there's miles upon miles of island to explore. I've clocked in around 35 hours so far, and I'm only at 34% completion.

Just Cause 2... just a huge area to mess around in if that's your style.
Edit:

Not much that already hasn't been said. Saints Row 2, Mass Effect 2, Red Dead Redemption, Borderlands. Maybe Demon's Souls? Haven't played it personally, but know that it is supposed to be lengthy (as well as difficult.) Metal Gear Solid 4 was pretty long, but that was mostly cutscenes. Great game regardless though, and cheap nowadays.

Silent Hill 2, not because it's all that long, but due to the fact that you have to take breaks every few minutes to recompose... Or is that just me?
I actually did that when I was a bit younger, now I think I can play it all through without taking huge breaks.... Maybe until the Pyramid head scenes, they f'ed me up bad.

Persona 3-4. Full stop. If you don't mind shopping online, anyways.

As for things that aren't harder to find than the Rosetta Stone, there's Lost Oddessey, Mana Khemia, SSX 3, Silent Hill 2, Shadows of the Colossus, MGS 2-3 depending on your taste for convoluted plots.

There are some very good RTS games out there like GalCiv 2 or Civilization 5
but generally your best bets are sandbox games and RPGs, GTA San Andreas is 15$ and is an ungodly time sink

i suggest LA Noire
its not an RPG but it sure as hell is a LONG freaking game

i got it first day
only just today beat it (granted i did have to restart my game because i found the ONLY glitch in the entire game that breaks it completely, but still)
