goldeneye 007, i once glitched it so that one of the enemies just locked in position. he could take any number of hits from any weapon and not die.

i emptied nearly 100 rounds into him before getting the message, then for fun emptied another 500.

LOL. I know ALL about this and I hear ya.

Mine was playing Gauntlet Legends on the N64. My brother and a friend of mine we playing it so it was just the 3 of us. Without any type of intention we all simultaneously used our "Turbo" attacks with the Z button. We froze the game. We froze an actual cartridge. Needless to say were were stunned, but then we laughed about it for a good 10 minutes.

I hit that target on the pirypiat sniper level on CoD4, the first attempt.

I didnt reply the level for about...3 months, so i didnt understand how telepathic/weathermanesque you have to be to hit the bastard.

my friend( on the other side of a full sized basketball court) was climbing on the hoop. I chucked a basketball at him. It swished, then hit him in the balls. After he hit the ground it bounced and hit him again.

That temple is over-rated in its difficulty.

It's just a case of exploring and memorising, I did it on my first go with no guide in under 2 and a half hours, and I generally suck at tough games.

I found some of the other temples in that game much worse.

Completed stalker with no obvious graphical or gameplay glitch of any kind. Minus the repeating dialog of that dang bar doorman.

I reckon thats a pretty unique experience.

in GTA3 I chased a Diablo drug dealer around the Red Light District all the way to Hepburn Heights. Just when he went to turn, I t-boned his car at full speed (I was driving a fire truck cuz every other car explodes when knocking other cars around) and that sorry bastard flipped through the air and landed upside down directly under the car crusher in the junkyard, the magnet grabbed the vehicle as it started to burn, it blew up (I got money and more money from the quest complete and then more money from the crusher). Try as I might (even parking vehicles where I hit him, grabbing the nearby fire truck, ramming at nauseum until rage quitting) I haven't been able to recreate this. /sigh

I was really sucking at Bark at the Moon, failed like 4 times. Then my inner Krauser II (if you got that reference, +5000 awesome points for you) came out and I blasted through the song. Everything just stopped and all I could focus on was that game. It was weird, I was in a trance, everything was moving in slow-mo. It was weird, but awesome. And it has never happened to me again. That's the only thing I got.

Edit: I also killed two of my friends in Halo 2 (they had been playing for a while, it was my first time) with an energy sword, just by randomly pulling the trigger. Then I killed another friend with a sniper rifle, directly above him, I had been jumping and the scope was on x10. Never again have I done something so ridiculous in ANY Halo game.

Get a Killionaire in Halo 3. :/
Got only one but closest I've been to it was a couple Killtrocities.

(I'm sorry, I had to.)

But seriously now.

I personally find it to be the hardest and most cumbersome of the temples, simply because of the mechanics of the whole "raise and lower the water level" deal.

Different rooms have different things to offer when the water levels have changed, and I don't usually have the attention span to remember.

Admittedly, it's not the hardest temple/challenge/whatever I've encountered in a game.

The meteor blasting part in Dead Space kicked my ass six ways from Sunday.

Firstly... what or who in the name of God is that frightening bearded man??

Secondly... that meteor part in Dead Space was almost game breaking for me. The mechanics were all fucked up and there was no explanation from the game on how best to use the guns. I also had my ass kicked in several directions by it, even on the normal difficulty setting.

Turns out the best thing to do is to focus on the big rocks in the middle and only use one gun.

First: to be perfectly honest, I have no clue. I found it somewhere on here and found it hilarious. I stol'd it. :D

Second: You explained it perfectly. I absolutely loved the game other than that one part. The aiming system they used (or something along those lines) was absolutely wretched. I eventually beat it, and I think I got the achievement for beating it with 50% shields left once, by a fluke. But I decided against New Game+ for the reason that I'd have to deal with it again.

It's way easier the second time you play through and know what to do. I've gone through Dead Space 3 times cause I love it so much.

It is worth all the pain anyway just to see that epic final boss again...

I got one off of sheer luck in Fire Emblem 6. I sent my level 6 Bors, a Knight to the arena. He ended up against a pirate with a steel axe and all I had was an iron lance. I had 51% to hit for 10 and he had 69% to hit for 12. I had 25 HP, he had 21 HP.

I swing, miss, he swings hits, I get two hits and he hits me again. So whoever gets hit dies. Then the battle goes on for about a minute where we both miss over and over until finally I strike a blow to finish him.

Lady Luck was taking me to her back room at the bar yesterday.

EDIT: And then right after that, I sent my Archer in against another Archer 4 levels higher. I had 53% to hit for like 8, he had 72% to hit for 11. I had 22 HP he had 19. I fire a hit, he fires miss, I fire another hit, he fires and misses, I fire and miss, he fires and misses, then I get a crit with a 1% chance to activate. Fuckin A!

On COD4 randomly threw a grenade and killed 3 guys, I knew there was one guy there, but when i got 30 points and the UAV scan I was so confused. xD
