That temple is over-rated in its difficulty.ChaosHazard said:I beat the Water Temple in Ocarina of Time. :\

It's just a case of exploring and memorising, I did it on my first go with no guide in under 2 and a half hours, and I generally suck at tough games.
I found some of the other temples in that game much worse.
Firstly... what or who in the name of God is that frightening bearded man??ChaosHazard said:snipmiracleofsound said:That temple is over-rated in its difficulty.ChaosHazard said:I beat the Water Temple in Ocarina of Time. :\

(I'm sorry, I had to.)
But seriously now.
I personally find it to be the hardest and most cumbersome of the temples, simply because of the mechanics of the whole "raise and lower the water level" deal.
Different rooms have different things to offer when the water levels have changed, and I don't usually have the attention span to remember.
Admittedly, it's not the hardest temple/challenge/whatever I've encountered in a game.
The meteor blasting part in Dead Space kicked my ass six ways from Sunday.
First: to be perfectly honest, I have no clue. I found it somewhere on here and found it hilarious. I stol'd it.miracleofsound said:Firstly... what or who in the nake of God is that frightening bearded man??ChaosHazard said:snipmiracleofsound said:That temple is over-rated in its difficulty.ChaosHazard said:I beat the Water Temple in Ocarina of Time. :\

Secondly... that meteor part in Dead Space was almost game breaking for me. The mechanics were all fucked up and there was no explanation from the game on how best to use the guns. I also had my ass kicked in several directions by it, even on the normal difficulty setting.
Turns out the best thing to do is to focus on the big rocks in the middle and only use one gun.
It's way easier the second time you play through and know what to do. I've gone through Dead Space 3 times cause I love it so much.ChaosHazard said:First: to be perfectly honest, I have no clue. Second: You explained it perfectly. I absolutely loved the game other than that one part. The aiming system they used (or something along those lines) was absolutely wretched. I eventually beat it, and I think I got the achievement for beating it with 50% shields left once, by a fluke. But I decided against New Game+ for the reason that I'd have to deal with it again.
