Bet they realized durin the beta that they'd have to gimp the crap outta the PC players to give the console players even a remote chance of victory.

That was the first thing I thought of as well.

I was looking forward to using the power of my mouse to prove the superiority of mouse and keyboard over gamepads for FPS once and for all.

or maybe they would just do it like in samp. people with mouse - aim manually. people with controller - autoaim. that would really work in a shoot-out right?

Yeah, especially when you add smoke grenades in.

I would much rather have cross-plattform play than frequent updates that will no doubt only make the game worse and worse. Just like it did for Team Fortress 2.
