Honestly, I hope its just re-runs. Just looking at the other "quality programming" that CN is so proudly airing, I feel they'd fuck this up and we'll get a rift like star wars.

I think , if it is real, it was just to hype it up some. Why show brand new stuff and spoil somethings when they can show old stuff and get all the fans who love the show hype up. Though it just my opinion but I normally hate when trailers show stuff of a movie or new tv series. They always show the "amazing stuff" and when you do finally see the how or said movie it's boring cause they show all the good parts in the trailer that you would see for the 30th time due to the trailer.
well see, thats the thing with teasers. they show new footage without giving anything away. all in all, they would only need like 5-10 seconds of random footage from the new season. teasers are too short to give anything away.

As some others have said, not sure if it's good or bad. Though I did love it when they aired it. It was probably one of my favourite shows when I watched the channel.

Now.
Return the slab!

That stopped me sleeping for some time as a child. Time to start the cycle all over again.
It terrified my brother. i loved that episode.

I really hope they make new episodes, they hinted they might bring it back later after it ended. Courage the cowardly dog was one of my favorite shows as a kid.

Part of me is jumping for joy at being genuinely frightened...because Courage was one of the most fucked up cartoons ever to be played on Cartoon Network

The other part of me is thinking...they'll fuck it up royally.

I'm agreeing with the latter.

Yeah, not fucking likely.
Apparently you aren't very familiar with Cartoon Networks business model where they only allow a show to run for a few years be for cutting it off permanency which is a good and bad model.

It's good because if the original creator doesn't want to make anything else with the show (see Genndy Tartakovsky and Dexter's Lab), and bad for killing shows that still have a lot of potential (again Genndy and Samurai Jack)

Let's also add that this teaser doesn't use Cartoon Networks current logo.

If Courage were to come back I'd expect them to mangle the series like they did to Tom and Jerry, and Looney Tunes.

I don's see Courage coming back for a long time because its copyright license isn't anywhere close to expiring yet so Cartoon Network has no reason to relaunch this series.

But then people will ***** about how the show is going to suck from those few seconds. You can NEVER please people at all. You show to much of the new show they *****, you show to little they *****.

To me, I rather they just announce it and that's it. It hypes it up a little and gets people excited of a new series.

Sorry to dissapoint you all but I found this on Wiki-

"The show will appear again on Cartoon Network's sister channel Boomerang on May 2012, replacing Ben 10's 5:30 slot."

I don't know what the US Boomerang channel is like but I take it's the same channel that always show old shows? Granted Wiki info is not always accurate nor was there a link to back up that info but to me it's seen legit.

I like how everyone who complains about what they show on CN these days doesn't mention Adventure Time or Regular Show.

Because those shows are the shit.

...Either way, I'm still refusing to watch cartoons on actual televisions again until Disney reruns Digimon Tamers. Damn good show, Digimon Tamers was...
Disney XD, which is the more male-oriented answer to the normal Disney Channel, still runs Digimon regularly, I believe.
After doing a bit of research, it appears that Disney is only rerunning the fifth season (Digimon Data Squad) or rotates between previous seasons being shown every few years or so. Either way, Digimon Tamers specifically isn't being aired on any TV station at the moment.

Fuc- Oh, wait, yes, I concur.

Oh, and I didn't mean to come off before as attacking you with baseless aggression. I've been hanging around with old friends recently and we play it fast and loose in regards to how politely we speak to each other, it just sort of seeped into my speech here.

Courage had a great run and remains memorable because the show died a good death. You can't remember what is dead if it never dies, like the Simpsons. That thing is fast approaching the point where it stops being a zombie and starts becoming an Eldritch Abomination.
It's all good, I've been posting on internet forums for 15 years, it's almost impossible for me to actually take anything personally on the internet anymore.
Still, just because internet people are relatively anonymous and faceless to me doesn't mean I should toss out ALL my manners.

Return the slab!

I remember having a VHS of Scooby Doo on Zombie Island (or some other SD movie - possibly the alien one) and they added that episode of Courage onto it. I would always be scared of watching that part to the point that I would run out of the room until it would pass. I am still freaked out, come to think of it.

I call bullshit for a number of reasons.

1) The trailer is crappy. There is too much drag on certain panels, the actual visual effect used seems straight out of Windows Movie Maker and it has a real amateur feel to it.

2) Not enough emphasis on new content. If it were new content there would be some indication to that, which there isn't. Every clip is taken from the old series.

3) The video is four months old. I realise it says "Spring 2012" but I think we'd have heard something official by now.

4) The channel that's hosted on? It's a "Media Production company including filming, editing, graphic design, photography" - so basically they edit videos. They also made one comment on the video which is a reply to someone simply saying "Spread the word. It's finally coming back. Cartoon Network is following the steps of Nickelodeon since their bringing back the 90's shows." Seems like the channel is just trying to milk this to get views and possibly to establish themselves in a business sense. Note that every other video on the channel is much of the same thing, using existing content in an edited fashion.

TL;DR: Seems like some ass trying to use our childhood to milk views.

I never really liked that show. I always just kind of thought it was weird and changed the channel. However it has to be better than most of the crap that present themselves as cartoons today.

This show... Is... This show holds find memories to me. I loved this show, and I still do. I watch all the old episodes from time to time.

Go on CN, do this. Redeem yourselves, or condemn yourselves even further, but don't play with us. I want this show back, and if you deliver, you've got me back as a viewer.
