Just thought I should inform you guys. Never played Crack down before so that should be fun. Dead Rising 2 will be coming soon for free as well. I've played a little bit but not enough to figure out anything and I'm surprised they made it free. I can understand Crackdown because it came out in like 2006 but why Dead Rising? Anyways I'm defiantly downloading these tomorrow.

Downloaded Crackdown because it's been quite some time since I played it, and I want to do it again.

Anyway as for why Dead Rising 2, I think it's to get hype going for Dead Rising 3, which is Xbox One exclusive. I also think that putting out Crackdown is also to get people hyped as well, as alongside other hints, I think we might be getting a Crackdown 3 announcement at Gamescom, which I'd be delighted with.

It's all part of Microsoft's "Hey guys! We can be like Playstation Plus so now you love us again right!?!?!" campaign (you know, besides that PS+ is offering us far more and much newer games). They figured that they can try to woo gamers over by offering 3+ year old games for free...

Anyway, Crackdown 1 is certainly worth a look if you're one of the five people who hasn't gotten it in the six years it's been out. It's a GTA clone where you're basically a super-hero, which is at least slightly entertaining. Throwing cars at people is always a good time!

I played Dead Rising 1 and I started Dead Rising 2. It looks like more of the same, which isn't a bad thing as Dead Rising was quite the fun distraction.

I never stopped loving Microsoft. The fact that they are doing this at all makes me a very happy customer.

OT: I haven't played Crackdown in years. It'll be nice to relive one of the first co-op games I ever played on my 360 from a fresh perspective.

...and for free, no less. I can't really complain there!

I wonder if I still have my old Crackdown save file lying around...

I'll probably download and install it again, if only so I can climb the tallest tower in the game again and jump off it.
