Im talking about wild speculation, from the somwhat plausible to the rediculous, there was a similar thread I think a while ago..anyway

1. the Prothean beacon actually completley fried Shepards brain, now he/she is in an institution somwhere rambling about reapers...all the games are a dream (except the reapers ARE actually coming...)

2. Bioshock is actually set in the Pre-war fallout universe....

3.Chell is actually cave jhonsons daughter...why? I dont know

4. the Courier is the lone wanderer, well this could be true, its set up so you can role play him/her however you want, its quite possible,

all four protagonists of the fallout games were chosen by an unkown force to be super crazy talented heros in order to protect the wasteland...or they are all related in some what
OP, there is such a variety of games, and gamers, out there now that you shouldn't expect everyone who finds this thread to know what you're talking about. With the first point, at first I thought you were talking about Firefly/Serenity. I had no idea they made a game out of it. Do you get to wear the Jane hat? :p
oh well considering the demographic here, alot of us are bioware fans and therefore would know "shepard" and "prothiean beacon" and be able to put it together

same with Bioshock, fallout and Portal...especially Portal
My crazy theory is that you don't listen.

All of those Silent Hill theories that not explored in game... given I have not played all 12 is it now? but even with the first 4 there was so much reading deeper than it was meant to, then hell, I the game designers took some of those theories and actually implemented them... just to make less sense...

I wish I had some examples, but as I said, I haven't played all the games, so perhaps they were really onto something....

Like.. oh!

1) Laura from sh2 was the only innocent one, that's why she was the only one able to go through Silent Hill without meeting any monsters or dieing.

I call bull for I believe that Angela had every right to kill her father since he both physically and sexually abused her, though she was pretty messed up in the head so I guess you could see it as a mercy killing...though the way she chose to go was pretty twisted in itself.
But other than that, why would Laura be drawn to Silent Hill if she was "innocent?" That was never explained by the sh conspiracists (haha! I made up a new term!)

Anyways, that's my two cents, anymore and I'd be broke.

the cake isnt a lie
That one's actually true. If you've finished Portal, you'd know it's very real.

Now actually GETTING any cake, that's less likely.
actually chuck norris has it hidden in his beard...that's how he gets hie awesomeness

1) The alien species in Mass Effect actually resemble alien species in the galaxy, Bioware got the design because aliens beamed in images and other characteristics of their species in order to prepare the second generation of the observed humanity for First Contact. The Reapers may be real or were just created to make it a real game

2)Every video game, comic book, cartoon, and movie is actually a planet set in other galaxies, each at war with the other(East vs. West)

3)Radroach meat is people

4)The coming threat to the Dragon Age universe is the Reaper fleet, with help from Shepard, Hawke and the Hero defeat the Reaper than go off to use their magic to defeat the Reapers on Earth

5) Shepard is the descendant of Hawke and Earth is really a regrown Thedas

The Citadel in Mass Effect is actually a Reaper. Not a live Reaper, but more like... I guess a husk would be one way to put it. It has subtle effects on the inhabitants, causing them to rely on the keepers, and be incredulous about the Reapers unless they physically see or hear them.
