Crazy Upgrade

I once sold everything I owned that wouldn't fit in the back of my car and drove over 1,000 miles, with my dog, to interview for a job I wasn't sure I'd get. That wasn't the first or last crazy thing I've done, but it was the one that convinced me there wasn't much standing between me and the things I wanted to achieve but fear. Make fear your ***** and you've got it all.

Could you expand on that? That was like the seasoning finale, a huge cliffhanger. It sounds like an amazing success story, had it worked.

Life is a cliffhanger. If you spend your time with one foot hanging out the door, waiting for signs of success, then you'd probably never take a journey like that one.

I'm not sure whether, in the end, it was a success or a failure, but it certainly set me on a life journey and, in no small part, put me on the road to being where I am right now. So that's something.

I read all that and "Holy Crap" would be a good way to sum it all up. That was pretty jarring and a little scary. I'd have to read something like that while looking for my first job, wouldn't I? ^^ Ah well.

Also, there was this obstacle course (jumps and all that) for dogs, that I managed to lead a lamb through by goading it with a milk bottle, I thought that was pretty awesome too.

I've always wanted to try Cocaine-- just to see what all the fuss is about.

But I don't see myself doing that.

It's not that great. I just felt energized, impatient and noticed myself acting like an arrogant prick. It pretty much just boosts confidence and gives you energy, yet it cost £50 a gram. It's not at all worth it. Plus cokeheads are pricks. MDMA a lot more reliable and happy, although I am not about to actually recommend taking class A drugs, cos it's all kind of pointless.

I once had amazing sex with a girl in a river in the middle of a rainforest in Malaysia the same night I met her, then we walked home naked and I never saw her again. I think that's about the most adventurous thing like that I've done. It was an amazing experience and I wouldn't call it casual because it was passionate and it did mean something, but the fact it was one night only made it kind of special for me, and not just in a "yeh, I totally just did that!" kind of way.

You'll look back on that night for the rest of your life, I guarantee it. That's one hell of a story.

Hidden Urge: sometimes when I'm somewhere high up or near a big drop, like a cliff edge or the top of a fire escape, I get a big urge to jump off, or let myself fall, then I vividly picture what would happen (bones breaking etc.) and I recoil, yet I still feel an urge to do it. I never would though.

The most interesting thing I've ever done is going nuts outside a crowded shopping center. I was in one of those moods where I don't care what anyone thinks, so I decided to have a bit of insane fun. It involved a lot of yelling, throwing things, rolling over the hoods of cars and stalking people in the most obvious and loud of ways possible. It was great.

My "hidden urge" is the same as every other pathetic, lonely nerd. To talk to a girl.
I mean, sure, just chatting away with a female friend is easy enough, but approaching a girl and asking her out is really difficult, especialy if you have no damn clue how it's done.
