The villains got you in a death trap, his plans for world domination is in motion. Your Nakama is either dead or M.I.A. There is nothing more he can take, then he starts gloating. Tells you you're worthless, and so is every other human scum like you. What would you reply to him? If only to shut him up and tell him to kill you already, Quietly preferably

Or another case, say you've raised a small army going to go up against the big bad's. You are hopelessly outnumbered, reinforcements seem unlikely, and whether you win or not is left up to whether the movie is going to have a sequel after or some other contrived coincidence saves you. What do you tell your men to lift their spirits? Or do you just tell them they're a bunch a red shirts?

Turn towards the men, address said men as "brothers" or "friends". Sentence begining with "Today". Touch of realism and the potential of negative outcome. Insurance that said realism wont matter as long as they believe! Passionate remark about the spirit of the people! Degrading remark about the enemy!

Increase volume of voice - Repetition of the rethorical questioning. Answer once again. Repetition of the "Today" sentence. Draw blade/load gun. Further increase volume of voice. Another sentence starting with the word "today". Urging for the men to cheer followed by urging for the men to draw their weapons/load their guns.

Final inspirational sentence. Warcry! /charge.
