Another simple thread, is there a really cool RPG class in your head that you would like to see?

Personally I think Bards are incredibly underpowered and unfashionable! I want to see a futuristic RPG with a Electro techno bard class! He aids his allies with his trusty Synthesizer and Yamaha keyboard, creating funky beats to fuel his allies and battle enemies! (Coincidentally I happen to be listening to Electro Gypsy right now)

I also want to see a Arctic Summoner! He summons Polar bears, Narwhals, and Sharks to his aid! Definitely not enough RPG games with Sharks and Polar bears.

I say screw the norm of RPG classes like Warrior, Rogue, Mage, and Priest. Kick reason to the curb and make something totally awesome and badass! When you are a bandit killed by a level 99 Fish warrior and his Goomancer buddy, you will regret being a stupid ol' Bandit >

Share some cool/funny/awesome/badass ideas, skies the limit.

How about the whore class?
The one that intentionally sleeps with everyone as a means of helping/getting information/giving deadly stds that she can control who she gives to as a means of totally fucking someone over for life.

That would be an interesting class to play as

You see the evil arch duke Northaque, you need to seduce him.
You have rolled an 8, looks like those turkeys are done.

a fireball class. You become a fireball. if lvl 10 is the max, at lvl 3 you get a face and can breath fire, at lvl 5 you can self-destruct, at lvl 7 you can freeze stuff (you know, because cold is just the absence of heat and you can absorb heat) and at lvl 10 you can eat people and blow up like a nuke.

A thief... but not the regular kind. 'Steal someones TV and throw it at someone' kinda thief.

I've always wanted to be an electrician in horror games, fix those darn lights.

Magician, pull a rocket launcher out from under your hat.

Mathematician, use maths problems to confuse the enemy.

Scientist, you get guns and other futeristic things and chemicals to kill enemies with.

Or how about an everyday kinda guy class, you dont have any special powers or huge weapons, you just have a regular job and normal sized sword.

I can't think of a cool name for it, so just call it a Shielder. He would wear the thickest and heaviest armour and have the highest defense out of all characters, but lowest agility. Instead of traditional weapons he attacks with shields, using them to slam into his enemies. Sort of like a Spartan shield, but maybe with spikes around the edges, or razor-blade edges. Spells would be mostly defensive and stuns, so very good in a party as a tank, but has no ranged or healing spells.

Gravity Mage.

You can affect the gravitational pull of objects, making them heavier or lighter at your whim, and even causing centripetal pull on objects so you can sling them towards the distant horizon.

I've never had anyone let me do it, and it seems so cool! ;_;

Game critic class. Destroy enemies with cutting jibs about their AI, their polygon count, and overall worthlessness. Distinctive hat and british accent upgrades available.

I'd like to interpret this another way for fun and laughs.

An RPG class, to keep people informed as to the rights and wrongs of how to handle RPGs. Trust me when I say that not everyone's good at this and it doesn't always come easy.

So.. you want an RPG class that basically plays the game for you? because people suck at RPGs?

Brilliant

The O'Reily class, you defeat all your enemies by yelling at them very loudly until their heads explode.

The class every one of my d&d paladins become: the Crash Dummy. (Every pally I've made has died multiples times. And was the only character to die.)

Lots of health, no real powers, great saves, and is really cheap to ressurect. Also can be used as a disposable meat shield. X3

I always liked the idea of some form of Scavenger Class
It's like you suck for the first fight, because really you have maybe a stick or something
but then when you loot the kill
you can not only wear the armour and use the weapons
you can also start to fashion new armour and weapons out of these drops
mix and match from the first few kills
start making crazy things
it'd be totally badass
