Search bar approved, well at least when i checked it.

As the title states what are your creative ways to use lame or already awesome powers in any comics, video games, or anything else.

Telekinesis, even at low levels, could scramble someone's brain like an egg beater. And by selectively using it on atoms, you gain limited heat/cold powers.

DnD: Grease can be fun. Use it on somebody's armor and cast a low level fire spell. Hehehe.

Creative use of the fire spell, eh? I love it when people do that. Once, a wizard in my party made an oil slick by using an approved spell called oil spurt, which creates a jet of oil. He maximized it and set it on fire. Beauty.

Hmm, I suppose ice vision to keep my beer cold.

New one! Use the ability to speak with animals to set up a fly/spider/etc. spy chain. Blackmail everyone!

question since telekinesis usually uses you hand or mind how would you focus on the atoms?

Mind reading for use on Game Shows, because that darn host is always holding the answers!

Or how about using super speed for pizza delivery? You'd make some amazing tips. "Your pizza will be there in 30 seconds or less!"

Ohhh that's just evil.

Even the weakest powers can have really disturbing uses which are usually not explored or covered off by illogical restrictions (like the generic 4 elements inspired cold or fire powers - despite cold and hot being, really, the same thing. If you can manipulate the atoms to move faster, you can make them move slower)... Like, using telekinesis or any generic heat/cold powers on inner organs.

I'm still trying to think of some less obvious lame power... Talking to fish? Nah, that's too obvious - and arguing with lobsters isn't fun, assuming they'd even count as fish (they shouldn't, really, but I've got no idea how they handled it in Aquaman and whoever else had such a lame ability)

Hmm..

I guess using X-ray vision to cause cancer in people should be hilarious to watch. Assuming you're not the victim.
Wouldn't it take thousands or millions of x-rays to even kill give them any sort of reaction?

Using powers of invisibility in a crowd. Just start pushing people around. Start fights, etc.

Time travel: Great for practical jokes. Good memory and coordination a plus.

Come to think of it, that's my answer for most of the powers I can think of. Granted, it'd be harder with, say, glow-in-the-dark powers than telekinesis, but it could be done.

Speaking of which, if my power was glowing, I'd...Well, I'd wish for a better power. But if I was stuck with it, I'd carve a niche for myself opening for the Blue Man Group.

Invisibility would be so good to get creative with. The idea is kind of stolen from Heroes, but I'd spy on people who think they are alone. You could learn so incredibly much from doing so.

The power of regeneration.

I would open a business where you got to beat me up to take out your frustrations for a fee. Then I would write a book about how horrible monsters people are.

Then I'd volunteer to go to Mars because, hell, I'm immortal (assuming I channel the spirit of Wolverine).

I could also be completely politically incorrect and volunteer to be a suicide bomber. I'd accidentally explode myself, regenerate, and come back to screw with my superiors.

Yahtzee's idea of turning invisible and giving people wedgies would be kind of cool.

If I had telekenisis (or the force) I would disrupt public transport. "That bus is going nowhere"

This has probably been mentioned in some comic somewhere, but if I had powers like Iceman's, I'd never need to go to 7-Eleven again. I could simply make some Kool-Aid and casually brush the pitcher. Bam, instant slushie.

When there's a bounty on your head.....capture some poor sod, cast illusion to swap your image for his, deliver him to authorities for your reward.
