Same here but my only real compliant was that I wish the descriptions weren't so fast that I had to keep clicking the play/pause button to keep seeing them. D:

But other than that this was a great pilot episode and can't wait to see what happens next!

can't say I liked it at all, really cheap references to the original pokemon games coupled with badly timed animation. no thanks, no thanks. Only joke that got even half a chuckle out of me was the master ball reference.

I will watch this one again. Funny. I loved the descriptions of items as they were scrolled through. Subtle joke, very good.

Wait, the main character is a guy? Did not see that coming, seriously, up until he started talking I thought he was a girl.

Its an anime joke, they made it so the character would have no real features depicting him as dude or girl

I've never done JRPG or Pokemon stuff so most of the jokes didn't do much for me. However I greatly approve of the hair.

What did you do with your childhood then? Go outside?

I'm sick of saying how awful these new shows are, so i'm gonna shut up and let the rest of you enjoy it. It's only fair, and besides, it's not like the Escapist is canceling any GOOD shows to put these new ones in...

I suppose quantity has a quality all of it's own.

Pokemon was after my time, as for JRPGs I prefer western RPGs.

And when your home is surrounded by woods and large glacial erratics there's lots to do outside

That and ya know taste being subjective and all it might actually be a good idea to have a large variety of shows rather than just four review shows and some side stuff...
