i usually skip them when its possible, but with fear of it not saving i let them play through if they are unskippable... but i always watched the MGS series's credits for the plot thickening conversation at the end lol
I literally feel asleep waiting for those credits to finish so I could get the achievement.Kermi said:I always sit through the credits anyway, but the only time I've got an achievement got it was in guitar hero 2.
There is a massive difference between giving your life in defence of something and being the localization manager for Ubisoft though.Puppeteer Putin said:It's more a matter of respect and, in my view, manners. That argument could apply to Remembrance Day or any sad national remembrance. Do you refuse to do a minutes silence because you don't know those who died in the line of duty?Markness said:Whats the point of watching the credits, Im not going to remember anyone's name. Im not even going to read the names. There is no practical reason for the credits to be there for most people.
So, thumbs down.
These people have made a game that you enjoyed and put a lot of time, effort and care into, the least you could do is watch their names flicker in front of your face for a fraction of a second.
I also hear that the "cast game" on the set of Firefly was Halo 2, so I think the admiration was mutual. Fillion and Tudyk are known to have roles in the upcoming Halo 3: ODST game too.The Shade said:Halo 3's credits had some pretty funny stuff in them if you take the time to read them. Also, Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, and Adam Baldwin all did voices in it! Wow! (I guess I know what tv show the guys at Bungie were fans of!)
It's a matter of manners, as I said. These people have worked long and hard, usually over several years to make a game. Why behave as if its materialized out of thin air?Pipotchi said:There is a massive difference between giving your life in defence of something and being the localization manager for Ubisoft though.Puppeteer Putin said:It's more a matter of respect and, in my view, manners. The previous poster has a point in that you will not remember or care about the names anyways so why watch? I barely even stay for an Easter Egg, I remember turning off Halo 3's even though i knew there was something at the end
