Creepiest in-game diary/scene that you've seen/read.

And my creepiest scene I've seen goes to Dr. Stienman, and I don't think i really need to say what game he belongs to. (I get no points for originality ._.)

for me it's not the scene itself that's creepy about him, it's the audio diaries that you find from him and the woman he operated on. they were much more messed up.

One of the Log scans in Metroid Prime 2 mentioned how the Space pirates were trying to replicate Samus's powers but failed. The one which I remember most is the Morphball tests which snapped the spine of every space pirate who tried it.

One creepy scene i had during a game was in Max Payne. Trying to find out how his wife and child were murdered... You walk down this corridor and the walls are streaked with blood and the sound of his baby crying and wife screaming are echoing... The more you walk the longer the corridor becomes. It sent shivers down my spine each time i had to play the scene.

Terry Cotter and his Army journals in Fable II.

His slow degeneration into madness was seriously creepy stuff. Then you see his room with a strange light and (what I can only assume is) his skeleton curled up in the fetal position, surrounded by clay soldier statues.

That, or the Vault in Fallout 3, the one where all the musicians went? 83, I think. That poor girl's journals.

Probably in prototype. the blackwatch due to them droning like souless soldiers the following

Yes lol. When I first played Halo 1, I wasn't very old - like 12 or 13 - and I stopped playing the game for a while...was that creeped out. o_o;

There was a survival "horror" game for the PS1 called Koudelka. It wasn't scary at all and some of the scenes that tried to be were corny, but it was creepy as heck. It was full of weird paintings and books that weren't trying to scare you but had all these strange religious themes but varied from God is good, God wants me to burn the wicked, God is a lie to God wants me to eat babies and play in their blood. No matter the point though it always was done in this every day, matter-of-fact sort of way. You feel like your allies are going to murder you as you try to figure out if they are going crazy or if their suspicions about you are right, and for a hundred other reasons, but mostly the weird good vs. evil plight that won't pick a side.

Probably the Web of Intrigue cutscenes in [PROTOTYPE]. They looked so realistic, especially in the moments of gore and surgery. Especially the ones with the babies...

Resident Evil 1 for the "// itchy tasty" diary. Which shows the case of a douche who turns into a zombie.

I agree... this was the creepiest diary I've ever read...you get to read as a guy turns into a zombie slowly.....crazy

I was gonna say this. Right after you read it a zombie jumps out of the closet.
