I had a dream where I was about to go into the stairs up to my apartment, wehn Satan appeared and was wreathed in flames, walking slowly towards me. He was just about to get me while I still fumbled with my keys, everything suddenly shaddered. I landed in my bed (physically speaking) and woke up spontaneously.

Your mind is a dark and uninteresting void.

One where I live in a lake and go by the name of Old Dom and drink lots of baileys. Mmmm, creamy baileys. Also, for some reason, I happen to have several pictures of creamy baileys. Mmmm, creamy baileys, I'm old Dom.

Zombies?
That reminds me about being chased around by my toy soldiers. I stumbled from the gradually building pain from the hundreds of tiny holes shot in my body from their miniature rifles. I woke up when they started gauging out my eyes with their tiddly bayonets. I was seven or eight years old at the time, that one has recurred a few times too.

I've had a dream two days ago where I simply went through a day's work with a hole in the front of my head. I just kept wiping the blood away and going on with business as usual. Nobody said anything about it or anything.

Another ancient one was where my town came under siege. I never actually saw the enemy, but me and the kids that lived in the street (I was twelve or so) managed to get into a bunker that had somehow appeared in the middle of the soccer pitch at the school in out neighbourhood and we started exchanging stories about how we all got there. Maybe I'd just seen the Longest Day?

A final classic are those falling dreams. Mine usually aren't precedented by any events. I just drop. For what feels like fifteen minutes. And then wake up with my stomach turned upside down and sometimes next to the bed.

When I was a kid I had a recurring dream about the devil. I was home alone in the house and heard a knock at the door. I sensed something was wrong and carefully looked through the window and saw a figure in a black cape. All I could see were his piercing red eyes. I screamed and tried to run, but he kicked the door in, caught up with me and pinned me down on my living room floor and ripped my stomach apart with his bare hands. I died, and my soul began ascending to heaven with him giving chase. I wake up just as he grabs my leg =/

I had a dream where I was working in the storage room of a skating rink and a man came in and skinned my torso in the pattern of a v-neck shirt and then ran off wearing it. I couldn't get back to sleep for a long time after that one.

Oh bloody hell I had another one about Bioshock!
There were these two people in a lake and they were going to dive down to Rapture, when they got down there it was all destroyed and there were corpses everywhere. Yikes...

I once had a dream where I was having sex with a girl until suddenly she put her hands on my head and snapped my neck, spraying blood everywhere, she then proceded to stuff me in the trunk of her car and drive of.

I have no idea what that dream could mean, BUT IT SURE FREAKED ME OUT!

Yeah, I've had mental dreams, and the strange thing is how I totally accept its not strange, what's going, for instance, and it's linked to the 'falling' dreams, I used to have a recurring dream where I'd be stuck in the back of a Model T Ford with Dracula, Wolfman, Mummy and Frankenstein, proper Hammer Horror style icons, was always Dracula and Frank either side of me and Wolfman driving, and then Frankenstein would pull his finger off to expose a drill, and he'd start pushing it to my lower back, and I'd wake up, but I'd be all arced off the bed, like I was trying to strain away from the drill. I've also had the falling thing a fair number of times.

When I was young I used to have a thing where a bunch of living scarecrows were going round with pitchforks, but they were actually giant dinner forks.
When they caught people they'd mash them like potato, and this was totally scary for me, despite obviously being complete nonsense, as everything in dreams seems real and rational to me.

My trouble is I've had some epic action/horror movie style dreams involving famous people or video game characters, but I tend to forget details after about 5 mins of waking. I tend to keep returning to nuclear war as a subject too. I remember getting some survivors and breaking into Jamie Oliver's house and throwing him out so the survivors had somewhere safe. (yes, for some reason nukes couldn't penetrate a house, despite flattening almost everything else around, and radiation can't get in, like I say, common sense never seems to apply to mine.)

I had a dream that me and Team Rocket opened a Pirate themed restraunt and all my co-workers in real life were working there as well.
But when I tried to go home one of those house arrest things went off around my leg

If I have a dream that freaks me out, it is probably to do with one of my two fears; heights (go vertigo!) or going blind.

I believe it was due to me watching The Golden Compass and replaying the part where Iorik knocks the jaw off of that other bear.

One of my wierdest dreams I can remember so far was that there was credits at the end of the dream, then I woke up. Only name I can remember from the credits was Ned Neely, anyone know if this is from anything?

Another strange one was that I was trapped in my house and the daleks started to invade so I ran round the house hiding in closets and under tables. The wierd thing was that my mum said she had the same dream.

I also have a reaccurring one where I'm trapped in the Fatal Frame games and the camera doesnt work
