Creepy online experiences.

My creepiest online moment was on XBL and some guy got pissed and threatened to skull fuck me... thats all.
People joke about threats made over the internet, especially xbox live, a lot. It's easy, because often it's a kid who's barely able to fight their urge to wet the bed.ThexWildx0ne said:

Oh my god, I had a memory from WoW in my head as I clicked the topic and I read yours and it's almost exactly the same. Except less pleasant and a bit more dramatic.
I can't remember exactly what I was doing, but I remember it was in Goldshire while the Darkmoone Faire was on. There was a group of people there talking to each other, then while I was pretty much just standing around aimlessly, one of them ran over to me and said 'fuck off Jay'. My name's Jason. And the only people who call me Jay are people I don't get along with at all. Then there was drama for at least an hour. I can't remember anything we said to each other after he said that, but it was creepy as hell. I think all but one of the other people he was talking to knew who I was, too. And however much I asked, they wouldn't tell me who they were. Not many people know I played WoW, and even less of them know my character's name, so I have no idea whatsoever how they knew who I was. Mind = blown.

Well, I have to remember the early days, waaaaay back in 2000 when I stumbled across my first forum, not understanding what it really was or how it worked. Now I'm afraid *I* was the creeper in this story, but it wasn't intentional. You see, I had no idea you had to register to post, or that you even could post. I just saw those screennames next to the topic titles and thought they were some kind of employees who posted the things people e-mailed them, like a letter to the editor type of thing.
So, let's forget about me here. Pretend you're some 10 year old kid and one day, out of the blue, you get an email from some address you don't know saying "Hey man guess what my favorite pokemon is pikachu isn't that cool?" So you IM him, asking why you were e-mailed and you get "Because I was lonely" in response. Ugh. Hey, if you're reading this and you posted as "Magmar" on the ancient Togepi's Message Board, dude, I'm so sorry.
Anyways, I can't think of any examples I've personally been through. Nothing out of the usual internet shenanigans, at least.
