I heard that story on the RT podcast yesterday and my reaction was simply this. That phenomenon has a name and has been documented. It's called Hills Have Eyes
Do you by any chance mean the Rooster Teeth podcast, the Drunk Tank?

Wait, so he saw what appeared to be a car crash with two people maybe dead maybe wounded in the road. And his reaction is not to get out and help or at least call the authorities?
What is the polar opposite of "paranoid"? Because you make it seem like being cautious is bad.

I haven't been that scared in such a long time. I...I don't know that I've ever been that freaked out from that kind of scare. I was not expecting that at all.

Like. I may have well have punched my screen with how fast I shut my laptop, and my eyes are literally welled up. It's been two or so minutes and my heart rate is just now going back to normal.

What. The. Fuck.

Edit: And I don't even freak out from those normally. Something about this one seeming like a regular old weird manga made me lower my guard or something...dammit man.

Interesting. It's been a while since I've listened to it, or had much to do with RT. How are things going for them?

Kinda freeky story, my first thought was damn now the zombies are planning ambushes. My second thought was if he had gotten out of the car several people would have been shot.

It´s just a lovely little comic from japan.
Except for the fact that as soon as you hit the first "scary" part, it keeps scrolling down, and you can´t stop it.
I suppose i could describe you what happens, but you´ll freak out either way.
Now, be a man and click that link.

It's a long read but well worth it.
Eh. I've read much scarier than THAT. It was mildly interesting though, I suppose.

Nice story, pretty short.

Anyway, for discussion value, I say it's to post some maybe-true but scary stories. Here's a longer one that holds a special place in my heart: http://www.angelfire.com/trek/caver/page1.html
The story is good, kept me reading in the hope of a payoff. But it never came! most disappointing :(
I actually thought that story was better without a payoff. A Payoff would erase the fact that it makes you think.. you mind comes up with creepier things than text ever could. :)

Hell no, I can't even stand screamers :p the first time the internet got me with one of those "look very closely and carefully at this picture and see if you can spot the creepy thing" gifs I nearly died :3

Quite well i would say. They have quite a large following now through red vs blue/ achievement hunter. And the podcast.

Sounds like an average attempt at Creepypasta, not bad, but I've heard better.

Alright, I love it. Creepy, and awesome. As I got a new camera, and I like scaring people, I want to film a video like this. I got some bored friends with drivers licenses. If I ever actually do this, I'll post the video here.

Well I was aware of that. They've had a huge following for ages now. I left off (without meaning to) as they were suddenly getting a lot more employees, about a year ago.
