well i have about 5 but here are the most recent 2

last year when i was staying with my fiance at a nice beach side hotel i awoke at about 3am to water dripping on my face, as i looked up i saw some dark figure bent over the bed looking at me and my fiance, i froze a bit then i got my camera (being a tourist in the country it was with my pants on the chair next to me) and as i turned the camera on, the LCD screen lit up and somewhat blinded me, and then the beasty was gone.

and about 3 years ago i was at my friends house on a nice bit of open farm land, again around 3am i woke up, there was a very dull blue light coming threw the window even tho the curtains were closed and there were three tall figures standing around me, one to the left, one to the right and another above my head. I screamed and beat the shit out of my friends legs hoping he would wake up (and i know this wasnt a dream because i could feel everything i was doing), eventualy the 3 things left after the blue light in the window flashed and i stayed awake all night till morning in shock.

those are some of my life time experiences. enjoy

I have seen an U.F.O.

it was a flying ball of light(or that what it looked like) that floated on the surface of the lake. I saw it for a few seconds, and it moved left and right before disappearing. It was dark, and I didn't see what caused it.

It was an UFO, since I don't know what it was, allthough I have an idea. There is a road on the other side of the lake, and it looked like lights of the car. I think somehow the lights were reflected on the lake, making it look like there was a light on the lake. I don't think it was a boat, because of the way it moved.

Or maybe it was an alien hovercraft from the planet Xntrnoftbag.
Was it lightninging?

Because there's something called a thunderball or something that looks like an electric ball that comes from thunderstorms.
I don't remember there being any thunderstorm, and it was in the middle of a lake... I don't know.

There was another weird thing that happened to me few days ago. It wasn't unexplainable, but it gave me a scare. It was late at night, and I have been playing Sonic Adventure 2. I saw movement on the wall, and there was a shadow of Sonic on the wall. gave me a scare, that.
It was actually a shadow of my palm tree. It hadn't thrown a shadow there before since I had recently moved the lamp, and i guess playing the game in the middle of the night when I should have been sleeping made my imagination run wild.

It was really late and I was leaning out my back window talking to my neighbours, when lots of bright lights all of a sudden started flashing, and I don't mean like plane lights, as in like, eerie bluey-green lights that lit up the whole sky every now and then. It was weird as hell, still have no idea what they were to this day

Years ago when I lived in Indiana, I was driving down an old country road going to visit a friend. It was in poor repair and there was barely room for two cars to pass. Old Cemetary Road, between Albany and Eaton. Might be Black Cemetary Road, not quite sure. One of the two.

At some point I had completely spaced out and wasn't even thinking. Then I suddenly felt someone blow a puff of air onto the back of my neck. It was warm like a person's breath. It startled me as I glanced into the back seat for just an instant then turned around and I noticed I was mostly on the wrong side of the road going up a fairly steep hill, so I moved far over to my side. Not more than 3 seconds later some blue hatchback car came screaming down over the crest of the hill. They must have been going at least 75mph. If I hadn't been snapped out of that space out just moments before I would have been hit head on by that psycho.

EDIT: Remembered two more.

When I was maybe 12 or 13 I was sitting in my livingroom watching TV, waiting to record a show that was about to come on. I figured I still had a few minutes so I went into the kitchen to make a sandwhich and get a class of milk. I just just poured the glass and put the milk back into the refrigerator and started to pick up my drink and sammich, that I heard the show I was going to record start. So I gently put the glass back down since it was pretty full. I go back in and press the record button then hear the sound of the glass falling onto the floor. I go back in and sure enough, it's spilled on the floor. Thing is, I had gently sit it down far from the edge. I cannot fathom how it could have fallen off the edge.

The second thing also involved a glass. I had a glass of tea, and the glass was ornately designed of thick solid blue glass. They were pretty old. As I went to take a drink, it was about half full at this point, the bottom quarter of the glass simply fell off. The glass was thick and yet it broke very cleanly almost like it had been carefully sliced. My friends and I were playing Wolfenstein 3D I think. We just all laughed about how strange and random that was. Wasn't creepy, but just really strange.

I get Deja Vu a lot.

There was also this one time when I was playing Risk (the board game) with my brother and some friends. I had a cup sitting on the table, as I was drinking it and had finished. I was looking at the board, but I could still see the cup in my peripheral vision, and I saw the cup move about 4 or 5 inches towards the opposite side of the table from me. No one had touched it. My brother saw it too.

Probably not unexplainable but it was when I was about 8 or so.
My mom had some tarot cards that had some design on it(I know they're fake). My dad had said he saw a leprechaun with the same design as the cards walking from the kitchen and then disappearing. My mother said she saw it too. For a really long time I would see that leprechaun go from the kitchen to a guest room. The thing is that I was awake that time--or at least think I was--because sometimes they would see it too; and sometimes it would point at us.
It wasn't just to scare me because when I would get scared I would most likely have a really bad asthma attack so that couldn't have been why they said they saw it.

Man, that leprechaun thing or whatever was creepy. It looked worse than the Leprechaun from the movie.

My TV turned off and on by it's self a couple of times around 2 years ago... Not that creepy, I know, but it was fairly odd.

Apart from that, nothing much has happened to me in the paranormal sense... And after reading this thread I'm not entirely sure as to whether I should be upset or glad...

Sorry but that story would be better placed in this thread [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.119187] since it obviously didn't happen. No offense, but Bungie didn't take over your computer.
I'm sure they didn't, but all of that did happen. I swear. Why would I make up those Bungie/Halo related details? I'm not a Halo fan, nor do I even own a 360, and I don't hate the series either, so it isn't a detail made out of bias of some sort.
Sounds more like a hacker than anything.

I once controlled the weather for about 45 seconds when I was around 10. One night it was raining, and I thought to myself "Make the rain stop" (i don't have anything against rain, in fact i like it). The rain stopped. I thought in my head for the rain to start again, and it did. It happened about 4-5 times without fail until it stopped listening to me.
That kind of happened to me this year. It was my birthday and it was hot as hell. So I made some remark about how cool it would be if it started raining.

Then it did, and did so on and off for two weeks.

Whoa, are you serious? Also I just noticed you are two years younger than me...o_O Small world. We should meet sometime and studiously avoid talking about politics, lol. Now that would probably be creepy, seeing Max face to face. XD
Right, I can see how that conversation would go.
"Hey mom, just going to go meet some lady I met on the internet who is two years my senior."
"Try not to die, you mistake."
"Thanks, mom. Good lookin' out."

Very true. Which is why I still don't believe it. Or atleast, I don't believe it's some sort of supernatural or powerful omnipresent AI-related issue. Your friend is probably screwing with you.
No, there was no way he could have done it. Besides when Kyle was in the bathroom, we were in each other sights the entire time. If any one of us showed signs of shenanigans, the other two would have caught on.

Someone else proposed a remote-desktop application being run on the computer, which is very plausible, though I don't know who would have executed it.
Yeah, it was probably him that set it up on his computer with maybe another friend running it. He probably went to the bahtroom so you wouldn't see him laughing.

And now, after being disturbed for a lifetime from reading this thread, here is my contribution to the thread.

Outside my primary school, there is a street. This street has a sound, a signature sound - it's a high pitched noise, and it is there forever. It sounds kind of like a swing, but a swing can't be swinging forever, can it?

It also is only heard when you step through some bollards into the street, no other time.

And not just me, everyone hears it who I've asked.

Creepy.
mosquito buzz or somthing you know the thikg they put out to stop young people stayig at same place

Please read all of it. I am fucking scared of my basement.

I have plenty stories. I watch Ghost Hunters, and I saw an episode where they explained that some people get weird feelings, and they said it can either be that they are sensitive to electromagnetism, or that they sense the paranormal. I'm one of those people. I get vibes from places, especially bathrooms and basements, and especially if it's quiet. Do any of you get the same sensation?

I get an especially weird vibe from my basement, especially when it's quiet. This is one place that I get the most energy from. I swear to God there is something evil in my basement. The furnace always sounds like it's about to explode, the washing machine rocks. I have nightmares that take place in this basement. I hear phantom footsteps, only when I'm sitting in my basement. My dad found a spider the size of a dinner plate, and that's pretty fucking creepy, considering I live in a Nebraskan town of 3000 people. Once, when I was but a wee lad, I was walking down the stairs to my basement. I was to about the forth stair down, when a Tonka truck at the foot of the steps glided forward. Mind you that I was a little kid. I ran up the stairs screaming for my mommy. Another incident regarding this fucking place was a nightmare that I had a couple years ago. I remember it pretty well, so I'm going to go into detail. I was in my basement at night. All the lights were on. All of the sudden, I heard my own heartbeat. On the on-beat, a ghostly white figure of a civil war soldier. At the off-beat, he disappeared in a cloud of red vapor. This continued, with him appearing closer and closer each time. When he got to me, he raised his sword in a silent war cry, and brought it across my chest. I fell to the ground, waking up just before I hit. But the creepiest part was, it felt like I was falling onto my bed, even after I woke up. Now, my nightmares are pretty fucked up, but usually they're not that sinister, or detailed. Maybe it was a soldier, a native son of Nebraska, trying to return to his home.

I will return later with more stories.

Then it must have been a very clichéd book. (I kid)

I know I've posted once, but I'll do it again damn it!

My reflection looked really odd for a split second. A very strange expression. I didn't make it, but my reflection did.
