My geography homework was put in my bag at 10:38 am. at 10:45 am I left the house and went to geography. At 11:15 am, the teacher asked for the homework and it wasn't there! ( I wish we could do italics in this) At some time between 10:38 and 11:15, it vanished utterly.

When presenting this to my irate Geography teacher, I should have got marks for creativity. I got detention.

Other than that, something was disembowelled outside my window last night, and I thought I heard a child's voice asking for help. My sister in the room next door had just stubbed her toe, and it was bleeding a bit.

I bust my own myths.

I get deja vu horribly. Sometimes, I get deja vu about something I know I haven't done yet. But then, maybe even a year later, I do it! I guess you can call it future vu. ;)

And now, after being disturbed for a lifetime from reading this thread, here is my contribution to the thread.

Outside my primary school, there is a street. This street has a sound, a signature sound - it's a high pitched noise, and it is there forever. It sounds kind of like a swing, but a swing can't be swinging forever, can it?

It also is only heard when you step through some bollards into the street, no other time.

And not just me, everyone hears it who I've asked.

Creepy.
mosquito buzz or somthing you know the thikg they put out to stop young people stayig at same place
Yeah, I've heard of those. It's supposed to stop kids from loitering.

Wow, there are some freaky stories on here. I'm still in the process of reading through all of them.

I haven't had any experiences to talk about, which is why I haven't shared anything. The closest I have is that sometimes late at night when I've been laying in bed a while and can't sleep, I start to hear wierd things. They're always really faint, so that I'm not even sure if they're really there or not. I can only hear it at all if I really concentrate and if I so much as sit up or something I stop hearing them.

They sound like they could be from a TV playing quietly in my house somewhere except no one else is up and when I step out into my hallway I don't hear anything. Sometimes the noises seem completely random but sometimes they take on patterns. Once it even sounded just like the stereotypical alien or robotic transmission sort of sound, with lots of rapid beeps with periodic static breaking it up.

Usually I assume it's just me hallucinating slightly after lying in bed too long, but once I was about to fall asleep, thinking about some stuff, when suddenly I was jerked awake and out of my thoughts by the sounds. Which is odd since they were still very very faint as usual, but I don't see how my own hallucination would jerk me out of my thoughts.

Once i was watching deal or no deal, right at the start i said 250 outloud and then crazily a few seconds later a woman opened the first chosen box revealing £250 pound, pretty creepy no?

Sometimes I hear songs in my head. It's not like I'm thinking them, though. I can't stop them. It's like a radio is projecting into my mind. It's pretty fucking weird.

I have driven past an intersection at 10 PM and seen a random hobo cross the street. He appeared to stare into my very soul with this piercing gaze. When he fully crossed and I looked to where he should be, there was no one there. This is /x/ material right there.

I have this really weird thing, sometimes (not offend mind you) when I wake up in the morning I can't move any bit of my body and struggle to breath - It's like my body is still asleep but my consciousness (right word?) is awake. It takes a few minutes and will power before I can move!

Once, a really bad one lasted around 10 minutes before I could move. I hope that isn't what being dead is liked because its a horrible feeling :/

My story, I was sleeping in bed, it was around 2AM, i could tell because there was a clock next to me, but i couldn't move, i was absolutely paralyzed. Everything seemed to have the volume turned up, every creak in the floor seemed to sound like a wrecking ball, and i remember my door opening and a shadowy figure looking at me. I just closed my eyes, and opened them again, and it was still there, i like to think i passed or maybe just fell back asleep, when i woke up my head was killing me. i still cannot explain what happened to this day.
Dude, the same thing has happened to me before, one I woke up at around 1:30, cuz I remember checking my phone, and my throat was really dry, so I got up, and went and got some water. I came back to my room, and shut my door, and took a few steps, and then froze. I felt a huge cold chill go all throughout my body, and I turned my head and looked behind me, and I saw black shadowish figure that was semi-transparent with their hand on my shoulder. So, I did the logical thing, and spazzed out, diving for my bed. I landed on my bed, facing the wall, and then my body became paralyzed, I couldnt move anything but my eyes. I couldnt speak, or scream, all I could do was just lay there. I began to hear footsteps, until it sounded like the "thing" was right behind me, and then I started feeling like I was being stabbed repeatedly in my back, and then it felt like my left arm was on fire. Luckily I passed out after a couple of minutes, and I woke up the next morning, like every regular morning, except my bed was soaked in sweat, I was where I was on the bed the night before *that doesnt happen often* and my left arm hurt every time I moved it or touched anything. Heres what makes it REALLY crazy, I could see through the guy, and my dad said he heard me get up and get water, then heard a loud bang on my bed like I jumped on it or something, and in the morning, I lifted up my shirt, and there were no marks, yet my arm still hurt. Now I take my dog into my room every night, and have this lil nature thing that plays river sounds with a light on it in there at night xD but yeah, thats the craziest thing thats happened to me

Okay, this one's rather long, hope it doesn't bore you ;) It didn't bore me, that's for sure.

Yeah, so one night - I guess it was three or four days ago - I was up rather long, sitting at the computer and doing my translations. Then, at about 2 am to 2:30 am I got really hungry so I went downstairs, got myself a sandwich and a soda, went back up and the moment I stood in front of the door I heard weird banging coming from my room. I figured it was a bird that got lost in my room, since that had occured two times already (the windows in that room are rather large and during this time of the year I always keep them opened). Of course, that didn't make any sense because it was a little early for any bird to wake up and fly around yet, but I didn't think that far at that moment.

Anyways, I opened the door, and the only light was the one of my computer screen which I, as I remembered, didn't turn off when going into the kitchen. It was hard to make out, but it seemed like there was a person standing in my room, about 2 metres away, banging his/her head against the wall. Of course, I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, so I turned on the light and didn't see anybody, but the banging didn't stop, even in a room that was fully illuminated. I figured the banging came from somewhere else. I wasn't really scared at this point, just baffled and thought it was weird, so I turned off the lights again to figure out whether I really did see a sillhouette in the dark or not. So I did turn off the lights and saw that shadow again, but this time it was standing much closer (now it was only about half a metre away), continuing to bang its head against the wall. I was startled so bad I dropped the sandwich and the soda (I admit, I also emit a cry) while jumping out of the room and shutting the door. That day, nobody was at home except me, so I figured there's nobody to bring and ran downstairs, took my keys and ran outside, locking the door. I went to my car just thinking "Gotta get the fuck away from here" and just drove for a little while, with no real destination. I just wanted time to pass. You can't even imagine how goddamn scared I had been.

After about half an hour of pointless driving I figured this was no solution. Also, my rational self told me it was probably nothing of harm, whatever it was. It didn't even look at me - so I made my way back home again. I went inside, and, after the first few steps, just stood there quietly, listening if there was still any banging. But I didn't hear anything, so I went back into the room just to find, right in front of me, lying on the ground - a sandwich and a soda. I kept standing there for a few seconds and then turned on the light. Seemed like there was no sign of any person having been here, except me. I picked up my stuff and bit off a piece of the sandwich when I noticed two cute little blood stains on the wall, roughly where the shadow was standing before. That actually was enough to make me shit bricks, so I turned to the computer to just turn it off and go to bed as fast as possible. Then, on the computer screen, I saw a notepad-file opened just saying (roughly translated) "See you next week." Without correctly turning off the computer I just cut off its electricity supply and went into the living room. Fuck no, I wasn't going to sleep in that room, that's been for sure. I ate the sandwich and drank the soda and fell asleep after a while.

There are no bloodstains on the wall any more.
I must say that might be the creepiest story on here. Something about a figure banging its head against a wall seems particularly scary. If I were you I probably wouldn't have been able to go back in my house for a week.

Also, sometimes my window just...pops. No reason why, just a loud bang through the room. Ususally at night.

Also not fun.
That happens to my windows too, I hear it's fairly common. I think it has to do with the changing temperature. And my window is right next to my head, and for some reason it's always that window that cracks, never the other window that's farther away.

One particular night I was lying in bed thinking about some scary stories or show I had seen (I don't remember particularly what it was) and I was really freaked out by it, and I couldn't stop thinking about it. Just when I'm really on edge and starting to think something's going to come out of the shadows or something, sure enough my window cracks, and it was a really loud one. I literally jumped up in the air from the lying down position, which I don't even think is possible.

The only creepy thing that has ever happened to me was entirely my doing. My family lives across from a really cool old graveyard and when I lived at home my bedroom was on the bottom floor so if I couldn't sleep I would sneak out and wander around the graveyard. I don't believe in ghosts and I always felt fairly safe there. One night when I was out there I heard a noise like a squeaky chew toy, always just far enough ahead of me that I couldn't see what was making it. I figure it was probably a duck or a fox but it's hard to think rationally when there's no moon and you can't see.
Maybe a duck being eaten by a fox. That happens. Also Snap! I live next to a graveyard too.

Graveyards are awesome places to live near.

To be honest it would have been less creepy if it had been a fox screaming because at least that way I would have known what it was.

You just perfectly described sleep paralysis. Except without the hallucination of a ghost/demon/alien holding you down/choking you. Lucky you.

All the time I'll be talking to friends and I'll know for a FACT that I've heard the exact same conversation before, de ja vu. It's not really creepy, just annoying that I can't explain it or do anything about it. Just continue like nothing happened...

Also, I'll be sitting thinking to myself "remember that one episode of ______" and the exact episode will be on sometime later. It's happened countless times.

I can think of one specific time not too long ago I was thinking about the episode of Futurama where Fry's old girlfriend comes to the future. Later that day, I see Futurama's on, I hit the info button.

Goosebumps.
