Sometimes I hear songs in my head. It's not like I'm thinking them, though. I can't stop them. It's like a radio is projecting into my mind. It's pretty fucking weird.
That sort of happens to me too, except it's not songs, it's voices. It just happened two nights ago actually. All of a sudden I'll realize I hear either talking or intense whispering in my head. It's definetly in my head and not a sound, but I can't control it and it's definetly different from my thoughts. All of a sudden it seems like two or more people are having a conversation in my head.

The wierd thing is that once I realize it it stops, but I feel like it's already been going for some amount of time without my realizing it. But I have no idea how long or why I didn't hear it, I just get the feeling it's been there for a while. And once I notice it it stops, but it's still there as if the voices are echoing or something, and eventually it fades away the more I think about it. But since it stops once I realize it I never actually get to listen to it, and I can't hear anything being said or make out words. It starts to blend together as it fades away.

Again, I blame it on being tired.

I have this really weird thing, sometimes (not offend mind you) when I wake up in the morning I can't move any bit of my body and struggle to breath - It's like my body is still asleep but my consciousness (right word?) is awake. It takes a few minutes and will power before I can move!

Once, a really bad one lasted around 10 minutes before I could move. I hope that isn't what being dead is liked because its a horrible feeling :/
You just perfectly described sleep paralysis. Except without the hallucination of a ghost/demon/alien holding you down/choking you. Lucky you.
Do I get a medal?
please :D
Only if it never happens to you again. Except the medal will be not having to experience that again.

When I was like 3 or so, I stayed the night at my cousins house. It was probably 3 in the morning or so and I woke up and there was a shadow outside of his window. It stood there for about a minute and walked away. It's weird because he lives in middle of nowhere, surrounded by cornfields. Also the back yard is gated up and there are a few dogs that sleep back there, yet none of them were barking.

Also the other night I was driving home from a movie with my girlfriend and we took the back roads home. I've drove the roads a lot of times in my life, day and night, and at night the road is usually empty. Anyways, when I turned on this particular road, a car and truck seemed to come out of nowhere and started tail gating me. They were also flashing there lights at me. To make matters worse, I couldn't go fast because it was foggy. There are also deer running around out there at night, and the roads are either surrounded by trees or cornfields at all times, so you couldn't see a deer before it's to late. Anyways the cars were driving close the whole way until I reached this highway. I just blew through the stop sign and once I was on the highway, i got up to 90 to get away from them. I ended up losing them once on the highway, but then my service engine light came on. Weird.

I must say that might be the creepiest story on here. Something about a figure banging its head against a wall seems particularly scary. If I were you I probably wouldn't have been able to go back in my house for a week.
Personally - I blame my head, and you should, too. If you know what I mean. ;)

Have you guys ever been in a room where its quiet, and when ever you turn on an electronic device *like a tv or computer* but have NO sound emitting from it *volume turned down to zero* but yet you can hear this weird sound that gets emitted from the electric device? It's like really hard to explain, but like, say your about to walk into a room, and a TV is on in it, but the volumes turned down, you can still tell that theres a TV on in there? *without looking in there of course* I dont know what it is, or if its just a static-ey noise, or if I'm just hallucinating, but normally I can hear it, and when the electronic device turns off, the noise changes. and when ever someone walks in, besides me, it changes. and the reason why im rambling on about this is that sometimes itll change, even though nothing visibly changed. I get that feeling that something just walked into my room alot, even though nothings there, and this atmespheric static changes when I get that feeling, it reall creeps me out.

I dont have anything anywahere near as creepy, but there is one thing that comes to mind. My room doesnt back onto any road or track, but once in a while a flash of bright yellow light will suddenly illuminate my room, only for a fraction of a second but quick enough for me to noitce, as if some bright object had flown past my window at high speed. It seems to happen at complete random, my parents may be still awake and the hall light may be on, or it may be picth black and quite as night.

Are you referring to my stories? I already do.

Though if my head made me see and hear what yours did, I think I would rather blame ghosts. Or else it means I've got a problem.

Premonitions, smelling things assosiated with dead family members. For example ponds cream that my grandma used. She died about a week after i was born, so i did not meet her. Cigarettes my uncle used to smoke. The cigarettes are not sold here. The ponds happened before said unckle died, and the cigarettes a couple of days after he was cremated. I once heard something breathing, followed by footsteps and then something breathing on my neck. It was labored breathing, very hot. It growled when i ran away. I was about 10 when that happened. Later that year, electricity went while I was in the computer room (that place felt evil to me) and I heard the breathing again, coming towards me. I turn around and look square into a tall being, like a man but more muscular. I get feelings according to places. I sometimes heard babies crying/dogs barking and people talking in my room in the middle of the room (or next to my bed). I get dreams that influence me to do things months and years later.
On a whole, weird-ass things happen to me. I have a lot more things, but dont feel like rambling.

EDIT: this happened repeatedly over the course of a few minutes.
Possums? Here in Australia I hear them all the time outside the window making really creepy noises.

On topic: I remember randomly one of the speakers in my house seemed to leap suddenly from its resting place to smash to the floor. It was very strange - my mother was certain it was the work of a poltergeist of some kind.
You just reminded me of something...

But anyway, nothing weird happens to me, exept for once when I was doing the washing up at 1:30 AM and no one else was in, I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned around and all the lights went out. There was a storm outside, so I'm guessing powercuts.

Yeah, of course devices make noises when they're running. That's how they work. My TV in particular makes an annoying high-pitched noise I only notice when it's muted.

I feel like sharing this story of mine, even though it has a perfectly explainable ending:

So there's this house up in a (beautiful) rural area about an hour and a half's drive away that used to belong to my great-grandmother, and when she died it fell into disrepair but we fixed it up and now we go up and stay there for long weekends or a couple days at a time in Summer.

The room I stay in has a window facing the back of the house, where there's an overgrown field of unused property. So one night I'm lying in bed trying to go to sleep when suddenly I hear this faint noise and wierd strobing lights start flashing against my window. I start to freak out, I'm fairly certain there's a UFO landing in the field behind the house.

I run to the window, only to see that it is from my neighbor's car going up their driveway towards their house, which is a fair bit behind ours. The strobe lights had been from the headlights passing through the trees that are between our property and their driveway. I hadn't been used to it because they had just moved in like a week ago (they put in one of those little manufactured houses so I wasn't even used to a house or driveway being there). It still made for a bit of a scare.

Hah I could give you that, but it wouldn't stop you from waking up and hallucinating that a ghostly figure is strangling you in your bed and you can't move.

What you need is a shotgun. That kills ghosts. Imaginary ghosts. Somehow.

Creepy story
Youve got 100% of the horror stories I have read beaten, I actaully jumped abit reading that.
Thank you. :] I just wish I didn't have the honour of beating all the horror stories you had read before.

Really: I do not believe in stuff like this. I just figured that, from working so much, being so tired and watching so many (good) horror movies, playing so much Silent Hill and Condemned, my mind just played tricks on me.
I mean, come on, how likely is it to really happen again next week? Tell me it's impossible.

a few things have happened to me, some kool some not so kool.

1)i seem to have complete control of my dreams 9/10 of the times. plus some of my dreams come true(sadly not the exicting ones)also once my back got hurt in one of my dreams and my back was killing me the next day.

2)me and my friend were watching a ghost program called most haunted, we were totally addictted to it and watched it all the time. the next day we went to the park and heard a twig snap, being as addicted to most haunted as we were decided to call out. we asked mothing in perticular "can you here us, snap one twig for yes two for no", one twig snap, we thought it still could be coincidence and asked some more questions with yes being two twigs this time more twigs snapped with quite a few being yes. now my friend decided to ask it "do you wish to hurt us 1 for no 2 for yes"...2 twigs snapped. we ran for our lifes and never looked back. to this day were still scared of that park.

3)one day while lying on a cushion, watching my tv a dark figure appeared in my tv, i looked behind me but i was up against a wall. the figure got larger in the tv then vanished. now that didnt scare me much, what scared me was that night i went downstairs to get a drink when i awoke in the night. as soon as i got out my room the same dark figure i saw in the tv was their in my bathroom...lets say i dont go downstairs during the night anymore...or use the toilet at night.

I sometimes feel like im being watched. Especially at night, while playing games like oblivion. I hate playing alone at night. I only play during the day or when my friends are online and we're on an xbox live party now.

Its by no means impossible since it happened in the first place. Buy a gun? Fat lot of help it will be but the comfort factor is unbeaten.
