This happened 5 years ago.
I was standing at the computer...at 3 in the morning listening to music and browsing the internet. The speakers went silent and I couldn't hear nothing for the first few seconds. Tried to fix it but then I heard something(from the speakers). It was like this voice was saying something but it was very static so I couldn't understand a thing. After about 3 minutes of that I started hearing the music again and everything was back to normal.
Sounds like your speakers were picking up radio signals. I've had this happen to me.

In my house sometimes when your alone you will hear a distinctive 3 knocks but no one is at the door. It freaks the crap out of me.

Wow. And this is all caused by some sort of condition?
I'm not going to call bullshit on you but I will say that a strange amount of Escapists seem to have some pretty paranormal stuff going on...
Haha yeah well. I don't know if "condition" is the right thing, it's just that the thing that happens to us is called a "night terror" some people get them worse more than others, and some people don't.

Yeah, quite a large part of me didn't think that was the right word but, eh, had to put something.

During my school district's "Prank Week" several students from South High were in the habit of nabbing North High students (my school) off the street, taping them up, and dropping them off in front of North High.

Well one afternoon a van pulls up to the curb. Two people jump out, grab me, pull me into the van, close the door, and drive off. They then wrapped my feet and arms in duct tape and covered my mouth. They then decided to pass me around like a joint, taking turns groping me and laughing while doing it. Five to ten minutes later the door slides open and out I'm tossed in front of the school.
can't they be arrested for doing that, sounds pretty illigal to me >.>

I have seen an U.F.O.

it was a flying ball of light(or that what it looked like) that floated on the surface of the lake. I saw it for a few seconds, and it moved left and right before disappearing. It was dark, and I didn't see what caused it.

It was an UFO, since I don't know what it was, allthough I have an idea. There is a road on the other side of the lake, and it looked like lights of the car. I think somehow the lights were reflected on the lake, making it look like there was a light on the lake. I don't think it was a boat, because of the way it moved.

Or maybe it was an alien hovercraft from the planet Xntrnoftbag.
or ball lightning :)

Here's another one that isn't really that creepy, but it did mess with me pretty bad at the time. My friend had a Halloween sleepover party one year and someone decided to play with a Ouija board. I'm not a big fan of them so I decided not to touch it, but I did stay in the room to watch. It started out with normal 7th grade girl stuff, saying things about how so-and-so loves the grossest boy in class and so-and-so's going to marry Justin Timberlake. Then someone asked if there was anyone watching us right now and it said yes. Then they asked who it was watching and it spelled out my name. Then they asked who it was and it spelled out my grandma's name who had died the year before. Now, all my friends know I was named after my grandma (I'm Jeanne and her middle name was Jean which is what she always went by) but the board spelled out my grandma's first name which none of my friends knew and which I had only learned after she died because she disliked that name so much. Her gravestone says Jean, her obituary said Jean, there is no way anyone could have known her first name (which is not a common name at all so it's not like they guessed) and if they wanted to mess with me they could've just wrote out Jean and it would've worked.

Once my toy squirrel beat me up... I have no idea what happened but I remember lying in bed with the lights on, when the squirrel went all cartoony and started punching and kicking my face.

Also, I once woke up in the morning and my left hand was covered in... stuff. It was black and grey and when I bit it it tasted bitter. It was just like someone had let rubber shit set on my hand.

Why did I start reading this?? I don't feel too frightened but I don't want to move because I feel comfortable and secure in this position and as soon as I get up from this chair I'll become terrified, despite believing that I don't believe in teh paranormalz.

Also, assuming ghosts etc. do exist, why would they want to haunt people?

EDIT: A few minutes ago in my totally-not-scared-honest mood, I looked around the darkness of my room and saw in front of me a shape I didn't recognise and a pair of eyes. After staring at the eyes I realised they were the reflection of the light of the computer screen on my glasses on a picture frame in front of me and the weird shape was the apple logo on the back of my screen partially obscured by my desk.

EDIT 2: Good news! I managed to get up and stay in control long enough to turn a light on!

Umm One guy tried to jump me after school. Just as a prank. He covered my eyes with his hands.

Needless to say I turned on my heels and slugged him so hard he flew into the street. He ran off with a purple lump on his forhead.

I don't fight anymore....

Or when someone put a frog down my shirt when I wasn't looking. Thing is, is that frog was just ripped in half so it was squirming around. That wasn't fun. It's blood was every where.

NO I have a better one! Ok so I was out camping right, and this guy just get's a pocket knife, so as I'm heading back from the bathroom, he jumps me. Blade out. I grab the knife throw it into a near by lake and knee him the groin, and then back hand to the ground. He couldn't walk straight for a whole day.

That's why I don't fight anymore.... I can't take a mock fight well

Scary I guess not really creepy.

I remember falling off a trampoline once, going absolute head first into the ground, then nothing, then standing, right next to the trampoline. I felt fine afterwards, not even a twinge in the head.

Also, I remember not being able to go to sleep one night, and I heard voices outside my window.
This was back when my brother and I had to share (Bunkbeds, yay!) so it was the room closest to the front door that wasn't the living room, the bedroom window had a dominating view of the front porch.
I pushed the blinds out of the way and was face-to-face with a man, in his mid-forties, we looked at each other for about a minute or so, then woke up my brother, who was on the bunk above, to look out the window.
He saw nothing, and he was half asleep, I saw the man, and I was barely drowsy.
Following that, I went to sleep pretty damn quick.

Mine isn't ANYTHING compared to the other posts on here, but here goes. I was staying at a hotel with my mom when I was around.. eight? We were eating breakfast, and I was sitting towards the door leading to the pool and my mom was sitting with her back to it. The door to the pool had been left opened, and then suddenly it looked like dust in the shape of a human levitating into the pool area. It freaking creeped me out, especially since I was only eight at the time.

I was stalked, enough said really. I normally not the one to be stalked for looks or anything, but its really easy to mess with someone who is following you. I headed to a lit area with people and turned around to him, and just grinned. "Whats the time?" He basically stood there a bit dumbfounded and backed away, glaring at me. Thankfully I did not see him again.

Once I was in my room, minding my own business and I heard a dog growl right next to my ear. I was in my room. Alone. And we dont own dogs.
