I generally go by UK English but I think both are honestly fine. The problem I have is with outright awful English. Random substitution of letters, aggrivating spellings etc.

Those are my thoughts exactly. In fact, you can replace Critical Miss with Ethan seamlessly in most of these comics. The only difference between the two is a haircut.
