"look at us, we can reference an Old Spice commercial! Ha! We're funny!" Seriously, outdated internet references aren't funny. Critical miss sometimes has great issues, but why must there be so many internet meme references?

I don't get the transition between the last two panels. I get the old spice joke, and the 'Garrus does nothing but calibrations for the whole game' joke, but...it just went over my head.
It was a reference to the last transition at the end of the old spice commercial where Isaiah Mustafa says "I'm on a Horse"

My brain overloaded due to the sheer awesomeness of this comic.

Can't wait to see what the newest storyline will be.

I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favourite Critical Miss.

Until the next one, that is... :)

This is the best strip of this entire damn series. I mean, this series is really funny, just this is my personal favorite. Also, in response to the first comment, story lines, cool! Just don't make it really cheesy.

Just a heads up, guys. This will probably be the last gag strip for a while. We're heading intro storyline country so buckle up.
I'm really glad to hear this. I was about to get on my soapbox and rant yet again about the comic devolving into nothing more than a series of topical gaming satire, since we had an absence of story last week as well. And the week before that. And the week before that. Not that that would be a problem, it's just nice to make clear your intentions on what direction the comic is going; story or satire? Satire is commonplace in similar comics such as Ctrl+Alt+Del, but it's handled in such a way that it's not so often that it interferes with a clearly defined story arc.

Also, i'd like to give a shout out to the artist (Cory?) for improving on the lips and general art style over the past few weeks. Particularly like the use of shading. Though the characters can still be a bit too "shiny" and "squeaky clean", if you know what i mean. They look like they're wrapped in some kind of plastic cling film.

Still, i'm very much enjoying the comics. You're right, playing Renegade really does make the game more fun that it should be compared to Paragon. I've been Paragon all the way, and decided to make one Renegade choice in ME2 just to see what would happen - the one before you meet Archangel (i think?) where you throw some poor fool out a window to a lethal drop. And i think one where you slug a mechanic with a wrench, or something to that effect. Paragon Shepard is far too nice, and as a result, far too dull. You don't have to be kitten-kicking evil or brain-numbingly naive (who the hell would give the Reaper to Cerberus?) to be a Renegade. You don't have to be wet as a blanket and so by the books to be a symbol of Paragon, either. It would be nice if some of the good done was of questionable moral value. A case of the lesser of two evils, rather than total bastard or complete hippie.

Garrus...does a Turian count for a 'mancrush'.
Me and my friend both think so.
This was rather fortuitous timing, I finally started Mass Effect recently. Awesome, just awesome. The comic had me laughing by the third panel. Unfortunately, I tend to be paragon more than renegade.
It's not a mancrush, it's a bromance :)

Between this and the Garrus Badass Burnout strip, I'm not sure if you guys are making fun of us Garrus fanboys, or if you to worship the ground on which he walks.

Wew, I sure can't wait. It better be good, though!

And just to line up with all other other guys who don't really have to say anything: awesome comic.

So...you made a parody...of an already existing parody using a far more apt character from the same game?

That was just dubbed over clips of the game though. This is way funnier.

The ending is just pure win.

Personally I think Garrus is suited more for a Renagon playthrough, i.e. being Renegade and awesome most of the time, but choosing the really important Paragon choices, like saving lives or not giving in to Cerberus' demands.

Awesome comic. Keep it up.
