You play the role of Mario Belluci a former member of the Italian army now working as a humble plumber with your brother Luigi in Porcini city in Italy, you also have a girlfriend you call Peach. Everything's going ok till you meet up with an old friend from the war who is now a crime syndicate boss, he now goes under the assumed name King Koopa, him and his thugs beat you up and he kidnaps Peach for compensation for past deeds, they leave you thinking your dead but you survive and now you must search King Koopa's Porcini stronghold's till you get revenge and find your girlfriend.

I think it would be hilarious.
