I AM DARTH REVAN!!!!
I liked the way you found that out with one planet still to go, so you had to run around saving old ladies cats from trees and stuff knowing you were one of the most powerful and deadly persons in the universe, and mentioning you were Revan became a conversation topic, but no one believed you. Good Times.

For me the warthog run at the end of Halo CE was awesome, if only because I managed it with only 7 seconds to spare, I was almost peeing myself running the very last stretch to the ship.
That is perfect.

I'd probably have to agree, and also nominate Halo 3's reprise of the scene - as well as countless priceless moments in multiplayer (fending off the entire enemy team with just 1 teammate in a stand on a building? Yeah!). But other than that, I just finished Portal (woo, free games) and the final fight was pretty awesome (especially with the constant commentary from GLaDOS). Speaking of Valve games, going on killing sprees as the Medic never fails to be awesome (especially when said killing spree includes outsmarting and then beating a Heavy to death... hehehe).

Wow.

As a long-time Heavy player, that notion is causing me to experience humiliation by proxy.

How on earth do you take down a Heavy as Medic?

Pretty much anything in Dwarf Fortress after the five year mark.

Standing out in my head right now is the dwarf who punched a horse over a mountain... out from under the knight on it... and the horse exploded on impact.

Beating the Reaper in the persona games gives a sense of awesomeness, just considering.

Other then that... the scale of how open Windwaker seemed, and that general feel of you just sailing on a boat in the world, charting new lands and fighting of sea faring rogues, even after you beat the main game. ist still a game i go back to playing for that feeling.

This one time, in Bully, I was throwing stink bombs at people in a ninja costume on a Skateboard while running from a police car in the city. Yeah...

Edit:portal in general. Both games, both good.

Also, rollong up the world from one tiny ball to an incredibly big ball in Katamari.

Punchmaster acknowledges this as fact. Punch Science has proven it.

Oh fuck I loved that. When he drags him over the edge, I squealed in ecstasy.

OT: Apart from that, Ocarina of Time when you fight Dark Link was pretty awesome.

Blowing up a Covenant Super Carrier... by yourself... with their own bomb... then leaping through space to safety and executing a perfect landing. That's just too much awesome to be contained in one thing.

IMO, Joker is the real hero in ME1, not Shepard.

I don't know the name of a map (too much of a n00b) but I was up on a ledge, while the Heavy I was fighting (who was wearing an amazing top hat) was down in a shed below me. He came out of a door, and I fired off a burst from my syringe-gun at him, only to dart out of the way as he started whirring his chaingun. I did this a couple of times, then at one point, I kept going when I dodged out of the way and jumped behind the shed. Then I went in the rear entrance and started slicing and dicing him from behind, eventually killing him. I think he was quite surprised - although after that, he got wise to my tricks and I got chaingunned to death several times.

I suppose I did beat down a heavy another time too, but that time I only killed him due to a very lucky critical hit, so I don't count that as it wasn't really skill or tactics at all (I fully expected to get owned).

Quake Live portal level, a kill every second, I won that day.

A very fast and quick match.
