Okay, ever just have that one movie that just hit a nerve somewhere and you just couldn't hold back that tsunami of tears coming down upon your soul like a thousand spears of despair and sadness?

...

...or maybe you just teared up a bit? Sure, we all like to be the tough, emotionless badasses, but have you ever just sobbed at a movie? If so which one? What part? Why?

(spoiler-ish) THE ONLY movie to make me cry was Millions, the part where the train goes by and he sees his dead mom and he goes and talk to her, and she tells him to be good to his bratty brother and she loves him, and he starts to walk away, and she goes 'Aren't you going to hug me?' and he tries to act so tough but then he runs back and hugs her and then she's gone and I'm starting to cry right now....oh God I cried for hours just outright sobbing, (oddly enough, rest of the movie was HORRID)

Just don't make a noise or I'll tell you to shut the hell up as I am trying to watch a movie.

The Green Mile. It's the only movie that I've actually cried to, and by God did it flow like rivers. I have no idea why it's just this and not anything else.

I cried in "I am Legend" when the doggy died.

Actually, I cry at a lot of films. I blame my chromosomes.

You're not alone, my friend. I was too young to fully understand everything that was going on when I first saw that movie, but I cried just the same when he ending hit. My older brother laughed at me for it, too.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Click, despite being a 12 and a childrens' comedy, has one of the saddest endings ever. My sister was in the room and despite best efforts a few tears leaked out.

Seconded, that's all I can really say.
That was such a great movie, there was a play of it on Wednesday night that I went to. Wasn't as good in general, but the ending was better.

I teared up a bit in I Am Legend when the dog died. Do tears of joy count? I had a few of those when Eragon ended. God, that movie was terrible.

Definitely my number 1 favourite of all time. It took Equilibrium's spot on my list, and for people who know me, that says something. Speaking of which, I almost cried in Equilibrium
when the sweeper team started shooting the dogs, which made the part when Preston annihilates the other sweeper team all the sweeter

I've heard very few things about Click other than the fact that the ending is a complete 180 from the rest of the movie. I probably don't plan on seeing it, so do you think you could PM me a synopsis of the ending so I know what the fuss is about?

Grave of the Fireflies did it for me. I don't care how much of a macho, grenade-tossing badass you are - you can't watch that movie without tearing up.

I also came close in A.I. when his mom abandons him in the forest.
