Crysis 2 Will Be "Similar" On 360, PS3

That seems kind of hypocritical to me. Also, from what you put in your bio, (I'll assume that it's true) you seem to be under the false impression that respect in real life should transfer over to the internet, where as you say, nobody knows who you are. I also believe that you are mistaking respect for a position with respect for you personally. That's the great thing about the internet, what you type is all that matters. If you type like a kid, people will take it that you are really one. From your posts I'd say your maturity level is around 15 years old or so.

OT: Some people do care if the graphics are different because some people are nerds like that. I mean that in an entirely un-offensive way as I am a huge nerd myself. Like audiophiles there are people that get gaga over these small changes in graphics because they care. Saying nobody cares is a sweeping generalization.

One question comes to my mind: Why isn´t Crytek also releasing Crysis 1 on the 360 / PS3?
Would be pretty useful for people who were not able to play it because their PC´s were not good enough.

I played through it and WARHEAD and boy, am I glad I did. But isnt it stupid if some console players have to start in the middle of the trilogy? That would be like starting with "Halo 2" or watching "LotR:The two Towers" first. You might say that "there is no story in Crysis", but it would still fell as if you missed something, right?

For those of us who are unable to play certain games in a series, I find wikipedia quite good. They normally have very accurate plot summaries and fill you in on most of the minutia that can suck you into a universe.

And after watching the movie with the shark chasing the guy on land I feel i have experienced the full awesomeness of Crysis

Yay now the consoles can get an overhyped dull tech demo with a generic and plot crappy AI but very nice foliage.

I think I will be avoiding this like the plague seen as how bad the first was.

My thoughts exactly. I wonder if Crytek will ever make a game?

I'm glad they wont dumb down the PC version, like a lot of people do when making it for consoles also.

If they had done that, well, I would have burned all my CryTek games while ripping off my face.

My thoughts exactly. Dodged a bullet there. When I saw the ad, first thought *omg what are they going to do now? How pretty will it be? NERDGASM* ... anyway. Then I saw that it was being developed for consoles as well, and I got pretty scared. Oh well, PC version baby.

Well, it's funny that the game that is exclusively a one big hardware wank is going to consoles which are nowhere near the capability of modern PCs. It's... pointless. Crysis is nothing but graphics, a justification of spending your savings on a kickass computer. Why would anyone want this interactive benchmark on a console is beyond me.
