Crysis 3 Leaked Through Origin

Oh hell yes. I played Crysis 2 on console first, then managed to get Crysis 1 and I loved them both. So yeah, I'll be watching and waiting.

That's gotta be a lie, no way would EA price a PC game at 50 dollars.

If they release Crysis 3 with DX 11 instead of lying and giving it out months later, MAYBE I'll consider getting it. Also if they follow Nomad again, and if it's not cut down...Ok, I would prefer Crysis 1.

Just want to point out that almost all Origin games is priced at 499Swedish kr which is 100kr less then the console version [100kr=15$]

I was just pointing out that most of EA's games lately have been the same price as the console version. Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age 2, Syndicate all 60 US dollars, same as the console version regardless of physical or Origin copy. I just assumed US dollars since there's a dollar ($) sign. My assumption though would be that in Sweden digital distribution is cheaper than physical copies, which makes sense.

while Crisis 2 did really piss me off since the ending made no sense at all, I did thoroughly enjoy the single player campaign for it and still rank it as one of the best FPS campaigns in recent years.
I'll be keeping an eye on any information they release about it

Now they're turning Alcatraz (what happened to Nomad and Psycho?) into Turok... nice.

Yes, the full game when they finally got it put out via patches was hardware melting. Saying it was not hardware melting just because the initial release was limited to a lower graphical programming api than the original was dumb.

I was able to play that game with only one of my gpus.

This seems awfully well timed by EA. It seems like EA are trying to divert everyone's attention from the whole 'dark side' petition PR stunt, which ironically was also a diversion from the 'worst company in america' thing. It doesn't even shock me how despicable EA is anymore.

Ea pricing the game at $49.99 is part of some grand evil plan, it has to be right? It's not like they are using digital distribution to make games cheaper, when valve isn't.

You do know that it's the developers and publishers that set the price of the games they sell on Steam right? Not Valve.

Pretty sure Portal 2 was $49.99 on release too.

OT: Whilst I liked Crysis 2 I don't think I'll be picking up the next in the series.

As one of the few people who really liked Crysis 2 for what it was (even though Crysis and Warhead were way better) I'm pretty excited for this. Hopefully they open it up a little more like the first game, though I'm not holding my breath.

Pretty much this. I'm tentatively interested, as I am a massive fan of the first game and quite liked the second, but I've been burned too many times by EA to pre-order the thing. Gonna let some post-release gameplay vids come out first.
