I'd roll with it.

I do not approve of "you're a singer, you sing" attitude.
I don't get the issue with it, either. There have been several successful cross over stars (Ice T., Jared Leto is a reverse example) and numerous instances of people "playing themselves" as cameos. They've had Kim Kardashian and Train on CSI: NY before, and the Train episode was pretty good.
There is someone named Train? What kinda retard would name themselves train? Thats like naming yourself Lamp.

Nah, it's a band. I'm not sure if they got the whole band for the episode or just the frontman and had extras be the band.

And where do you live where people name themselves? That's neat. I'd go with something cool like Reptar On Ice.

That, right there? That was some funny shit.

OT: Justin Who?

No, don't point at Google. I just don't give a good god damn about some tween pop-tard singer whose 'music' I can't even say that I've heard. I also can't be bothered to expose myself to his artistic attempts.

well CSI do have a habit of hiring "famous" people to their show for extra ratings, they even featured Kari Wührer once :3

Well, think of it this way, the limelight is the new cancer and crack cocaine. Once a person gets addicted, they want more and more until they either run out of money (sell out) or die (burn out). And that's when they sink to reality television. I mostly think they're in it for the money, the fame, and/or because mommy and daddy want them to so it'll be good for their own reputation/fortunes.

That last point is the case with some children "stars" that are forced onto some of these talent shows and what not. Now don't get me wrong, there are plenty of talented kids out there that would make wonderful singers/actors/dancers etc. But I can't help but wonder how many of those parents are actually supporting their kid's talent rather than opting for their own fifteen minutes of fame. Hollywood's getting younger, however, it still has yet to get better. If anything, the underpaid artists behind the scenes seem to be better at making a movie than today's actors/actresses do. (Plus they seem to confuse cold, emotionless and monotone with dramatic.)

Well, all in all, I just feel that actors and musicians of today are way overpriced children whom try to add another digit onto their salary count by branching off into other forms of media.

Oh, and if Bieber's on CSI, I will laugh if his character is the victim, but I doubt it will happen.

a friend of mine knew a guy named Bowl. yes, Bowl. like what you eat out of. his parents were from a developing country and spoke very little english. when they finally arrived in canada, they had a son, and they wanted to give him an english name. so they named him after one of the few words they actually knew.

$$$ I'd do it too. I'm pretty sure the piles of money would drown out the people yelling "SELL OUT!" pretty damn quick.
I'd rather they just drowned Bieber.
Even if they did it in money it would be worth it.

Which makes me wonder if anyone has been physically killed by money before...
Maybe chocking on coins? That doesn't sound too unbelievable.

http://deadlinescotland.wordpress.com/2010/08/09/3356/ - This is close enough :p
Hmmm that poor child.

I was thinking more of melting down my huge collection of coins and throwing Bieber in.

I remember seeing Felicia Day on an episode of House. Probably just trying to show they have versatility or something.
Um... what? Felicia Day is an actress. Always has been in fact - appearing on House is pretty much par for the course because she's an actress and not a professional musician[footnote]She may have gone to college on a music scholarship and double-majored in music performance and mathematics, but she pursued an acting career after graduating, not a career in music.[/footnote]. Seriously, why would you even bring her up in this thread?

Shame, she did more awesome stuff than that. She plays the leading role in The Guild and starred in Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog.

It happened to every Disney kid before they fell out of media spotlight
Actually, from what I've seen it was more like every Disney actor/actress becoming a musician/singer/popstar rather than the reverse.
