I've met some people, real life and not, that cram the idea of playing a Cult Classic. "They don't sell well so they're cult classics. You have to buy them. Now."
But some of them really do suck.
I hated Nights: Journey of Dreams and thought Parappa average.

A cult classic is a game loved by a small group of people. It's gained little following in mainstream audiences, but large followings by nerds and small groups. It's not a game that's though a "Classic" like FFVII.
