Not that i'll miss this season. It went downhill with Johto League, and now the whole series is just one big, ugly, abortion of science and childhood dreams.

I'm still waiting for them to make an Anime version of the Pokemon Adventures Manga series... I want to see Pokemon in a violent, bloody, PG-13 setting, damn it! I want to see an Arbok get sliced in half like melon, and Team Rocket actually trying to kill people!

I concur, though that Arbok survived actually.

Last I checked no thus the reason I abandoned the show. You can't just switch your characters at will that's bullshit.

This. After the first two series have been cut, I haven't really cared much for the entire Pokemon world. Sometimes, when I'm home alone and there isn't anything much better to do, I'll take a quick peek at it, just to catch up with the modern world of Pokemon.

And besides, did Misty ever come back into the story plot? I don't recall her in any recent shows...

And it will star Shea Leblehblehbleh or Zack Efron with a script written by Pokemon fans who just whipped out a tube of solidified nostalgia and didn't stop applying it.

It wouldn't work. Maybe in the 90s when such a thing was going to be taken seriously and the number of Pokemon was manageable, but now they'd just try to inject it with so much side humor it would render the movie toxic.
