Current pokemon anime series is coming to an end

Just so you know, I really did read the article. I thought that when they said new franchise, they meant a whole new pokemon spin off. Plus the article title didnt help me out either(and I was also in a rush when I made this article)

Eh, I still watch Pokemon because there isn't anything else on CN during Saturday morning, and well, it is still decent IMO. However, episodes had been very formulaic with Team Rocket trying to capture Pikachu and whatnot, and each series is practically the same of Ash traveling, capturing Pokemon, collecting badges, and crap.

I would like to see a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon spin-off series. At least, it'll be something different, and much more interesting than Ash and friends. Though, of course, VAs for the dub needs some tweaking and improvements.

Not that i'll miss this season. It went downhill with Johto League, and now the whole series is just one big, ugly, abortion of science and childhood dreams.

I haven't watched the anime for about nine years now. I found it was getting... well, bad. That opinion has since changed from merely "bad" to "burn it with fire". Sorry, but I've always preferred the games and after watching an episode recently; I've given up on the show. It was the first show I outgrew actually.

I laughed my ass off after reading this part. They release movies regularly after each season. The quality dips with each movie.

I don't mind the quality, it's pokemon for the love of god. I have heard "team rockets blasting off agaaaaaain" to last a life time. It was never a very deep or quality show anyway.

Just be nice to watch it again, nostalgia is nice.

I liked the early episodes. I still do. 1st series ran over 600 episodes, and it's been for an extremely long time generic, predictable and plain boring.
And I was watching an episode the other day, and it drives me nuts that Ash STILL is using Pikachu against Rock Pokemon and somehow winning. Way to go for respecting your franchise.
At least as from season 2 in Yu-Gi-Oh, you could seriously use their tactics in the actual game almost every single time.

I only only got pissed with team rocket, hearing that fucking intro and outro (is that a word?) about 2,000 times drove me insane. (2,000 'cos of them starting over again and again.)

Although thinking back Pikachu could beat anything just by thunder bolting it into the dirt, that thing must have had one hell of a thunder bolt. Jolteon vs pikachu, pikchu wins by thunder bolt.

I think the only time Ash lost is when is never used Pikachu or Charmeleon/Charizard ignored him.

dammit! i thought the seires was finally to have some sort of solid conclusion. Ash obviously gave up on catching them all and becoming a pokemon master (actually i don't think it is possible to become a pokemon master anymore in ash's world) Let it die!! start over with a new character already. you can make a new series with cameos of ash and company or make it in the future with ash as the elite 4 or some sort of champion

personally i thought that was the best pokemon battle ever, the only time a real seismic toss was used in the series and we actually thought a pokemon got killed for a second. the seismoc toss they have now is a cop-out when all they do is flip your pokemon or drop it from 5 ft in the air.

That magmar VS charizard fight is crap, first, fire VS fire would take ages, second, why did the magma explode with light?, thirdly, why did the magmar super jump back up to the platform, stand there for a few seconds then finally realize he could no longer fight?

It was like a boxer being forced to throw a fight, after getting smacked around he stands there for 3 or 4 seconds before shouting "Oh, shit" and jumping to the floor to act like he is unconscious.

It would have been vastly improved if charizard would have just thrown/launched magmar into one of the pillars and magmar just laying unconscious on the remains of one of the pillars. Rather than trying to build a tiny amount of suspense badly.

I haven't seen all of the first generation, let alone any of any other generation. I don't even know who dialga, palkia, dioxys and raquaza are.

In terms of seismic tosses that had to be the best, since it's the only one I can remember. I have remembered a phenomenal amount of useless information but best pokemon moves isn't in there, sorry.

I will have to take your word for it.
