Terry Pratchett's Discworld.

War of the Spider Queen.

SEARCH ENGINE - this has been done countless times before. Thread, that is.
Same for me, also started on the Discworld series. To be precise, I started with the guards/ahnk-morphok sub-series. Just finished Feet of Clay, taking a break now to re-read The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, and I'll order Jingo and The Fifth Elephant after that. Finishing the whole Discworld series will be a VERY expensive thing to do ;)
The wonders of having a Pratchett fan for a father.
Speaking of Jingo, I've just started rereading that for the umpteenth time.

As for listening, I am fluctuating between Hare Hare Yukai (the infuriatingly catchy ending theme to The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) and the soundtrack to FF: Tactics Advance.

Juggling The Grapes of Wrath and World War Z. Both fantastic books.

Listening to Donovan's 'Catch the Wind', a song I fell in love with because of PS3's 'Flower' trailer.

I just finished The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, I was very suprised by how good this survival/gladiator game book was. The plot is: In the future after North America is destroyed and some new nation was created, centering around the Capitol and it's 13 districts. After a rebellion, the twelve surviving districts must every year send two children, one boy and one girl to The Capitol to compeate in the Hunger Games. The Games are a pseudo gladiator/outdoor survival competition where the children must fight and kill each other and last one standing wins. I really enjoyed this book, it kept me drawn in.

Right now I am currently reading Schindler's List, the true story abount a Germen businessman who would go on to save more than one thousand jews during to Halocaust.

Right now I'm reading The Hour I First Believed [http://www.amazon.com/Hour-I-First-Believed-Novel/dp/0060393491/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1235354016&sr=1-1] by Wally Lamb. It's long but pretty good. It's about a school nurse who was at Columbine during the shootings and how she and her husband are dealing with it.

Finished Flowers for Algernon not long ago. A beautiful book.

To define it, I'd probably call it a sci-fi, though its very real. Its a about a retarded man with an IQ of 60 who has surgery to triple his intelligence.

Its an incredible read, especially since its written like a diary. For the first quarter or so of the book the writing is like a child, there are constant spelling mistakes ect. When he starts to change and become brighter the writing itself changes, but it so subtle your find yourself surprised when you realized that the writing has improved dramatically.

Once the book has you by this hook it becomes a tragic story. As Charlie becomes more intelligent he realizes things about his life and remembers his childhood. I'll leave it there, but its a remarkable book. It made me cry. I haven't cried reading a book since The Amber Spyglass when I was a kid.

I just finished (not) reading and BS'ing all the tests for A Tale of Two Cities. I plan on starting that copy of I Robot that's been gathering dust since Christmas. (I liked the movie, so who knows?) As far as albums go I just finished Chinese Democracy by Guns 'N' Roses, (dear God, Axl, what have you done?) Skynyrd's Innards: Their Greatest Hits by well... Lynyrd Skynyrd, (bloody amazing) and Now That's What I Call Classic Rock. (A very mixed bag.)

I'm actually not reading anything heavy just yet, just Naoki Urusawa's Monster.

However I like the sound of Jpod and Flowers for Algernon, might give them a read soon and give a presentation on one of them (which is in the next 2 weeks)

Listening to: E.S. Posthumus - Unearthed.
