As it stands there is no explanation except this cut scene in my mind can be at least be interpereted as Shepard telling them to down tools and get out of Dodge before it's too late, as you don't see them get vapourised, they just sort of jump out of the way of the explosion in SLOOoooooooooowwwww motion much like in every 80's action movie I've ever seen.Zeel said:My two squadmates teleported to Gilgen's planet. Whats the explanation for that?
Fair enough, I didn't read the title, just posted the link after watching it once. I think thats the only other way to interperet it, and if it's taken that way it doesn't explain at least why they're alive at the end.Zeel said:Yeah. I can see that. I didn't know if they "died" exactly or they got away just in time. But the title says "DEATH SCENES". So i'm a little confused.
Yeah, I had Kaidan with me. If I saw him get blasted, I'd cry for sure. :'[Zeel said:My two squadmates teleported to Gilgen's planet. Whats the explanation for that?
I much prefer them alive than dead. Thats for damn sure.
Apart from the fact they can end up on the Normandy in the post-final decision cutscene.VulpesAqua said:To be fair you do see the bodies of your squadmates in the main game in the aftermath of the blast, which I think works much better.
I didn't notice them :/goose4291 said:Apart from the fact they can end up on the Normandy in the post-final decision cutscene.VulpesAqua said:To be fair you do see the bodies of your squadmates in the main game in the aftermath of the blast, which I think works much better.
Its all part of the stuff that is finally getting exposed, they cut out tons of shit from the game.goose4291 said:A video's been released which was cut from the game explaining why your two squad mates aren't with you at the end, it was posted on the bioware forums..

Its the Indoctrination, they were also going to put in a sequence were shep loses complete control of his body(IOW the player loses control of shep).Saladfork said:...Why is shepard standing there while being fired on by a reaper?
Don't get me wrong, Garrus is undeniably the archetypical 'bro', but I'm pretty sure getting to the catalyst is more important than seeing if he's alright.
Also, why is harbinger watching Shepard just stand there and not shooting him?
I think I see why they deleted this scene.
